Nunew's POV

"Our wedding .." he said making me frown.

"We are not even engaged yet." I said coldly.

"Yeah but we are about to be , aren't we ?" he asked and I sigh , turning to look at him.

"Right now I am more focused on my work , my company. You know that this company is my life." I said as he chuckled , nodding before snaking his arm around my shoulder. I looked at him up and down.

"I know but w-"

"There's nothing more important than my work right now. As my business partner , you should know very well that the company is way behind profit." I said before pushing his arm off making him stumble a little.

"I think before you worry about our so called 'wedding' , you should worry about the future of my company , my business partner." I said giving him a sarcastic smile. I then rolled my eyes , walking to the car , leaving him stoned in his place.

"If you are going to just stand there , I will drive away without you. I have work to do so move your butt." I said coldly making his eyes widened. I sigh , shaking my head as I got in the car. I then started the car.

"N-Nhu ! Wait for me !" shouted Rain as he ran towards the car.

Zee's POV

I groan , stretching my arms as everyone started packing up. I turned my computer off , stacking all the files up into one side.

"Great job today , Zee .." said Max as I got up.

"Let's go and grab dinner together , how does that sound ?" asked Prem as me and Max nod. I then turn to Shun Nun's office seeing the lights still on.

"Is he still working ?" I thought.

"Zee , you coming ?" asked Max.

"Yeah , coming .." I said before following them.

"Cheers !" The three of us cling our glasses together before gulping down the beer. I scrunch up my face as the alcohol run down my throat.

"I can't believe we survived work today .. Khun Nu was scary today .." said Max as he shivered.

"I don't even know how we survived that .." said Prem.

"I have a question .." I said making the both of them look at me.

"If you guys are so scared of Khun Nu .. why do you still work with him ?" I asked as the both of them look at each other.

"Because we love our job ..." said Max.

"This job has helped me with so many things .. such as paying bills .. family and even food to survive .." he said as Prem nodded.

"And plus , I know that one day , Khun Nu will change .. change into a much softer and kinder boss .." said Prem as Max smile. I look at the both of them before looking down to my drink.

"Now tell me Zee Pruk. Am I that merciless ?" He asked as I look into his eyes. All I could see in it was coldness , nothing but that.

"Answer me." He ordered.

"Yes .." I answered as I then realized he froze for awhile. His eyes became softer for awhile but I caught it on time.

"I wonder what's behind those cold eyes .." I thought before drinking my beer.

Nunew's POV

I sigh in relaxation as the warm water touches my bare skin.

"Finally ... a time to relax .." I thought as I breathed out. I leaned my back against my bathtub , closing my eyes as small candles light up my bathroom.

"Now tell me Zee Pruk. Am I that merciless ?" I asked , looking at him.

"Yes .." he answered without hesitation.

I sigh in frustration , running my fingers through my hair.

"Hoi~ what's wrong with me ?! Why do I keep thinking about it ?!" I scolded myself. I hugged my knees , playing with the bubbles as I pout.

"Am I that scary to everyone ?" I thought. I leaned back , looking out the window.

"Zee Pruk ..." I thought. That name has been stuck in my head for awhile now but I didn't know why.

"Aish , I can't even relax anymore." I said before grabbing my towel , getting out of the bathtub. 

- next morning -

The sound of my alarm woke me up making me groan , reaching for my phone. I sigh , turning off the alarm as I sat up , rubbing my face. I then got out of bed , walking towards the bathroom to get ready for work.

Once I was done , I got changed into one of my black satin dressed shirt , pairing it along with a straight cut black pants. I wore my earrings and my other accessories. I grabbed my bag , walking down. I took my car keys to my red sport car. I got in , placing my bag on the seat beside me before starting the car. I then drove off to work.

After a while , I finally reached the company. I got out after parking my car. I walked in the building as everyone bowed whenever I walked past them. I went up to my office and soon everyone got up making me stop my tracks.

I fold my arms , looking around and soon saw the new employee.

"You. Report. Now." I said pointing my finger at him before walking towards my office. I open the door , placing my bag on my table as I plopped down on the chair. Soon the door opened revealing the new employee , Zee. I look at the seat in front of me as he then walked towards it , sitting down.

"Go ahead." I said as he then proceeded to open his file. I placed both of my elbows on the table , leaning my chin on my palm as I look at him. He then cleared his throat before presenting the report about the website. I look at him as he talked. I then started scanning his features. He had slightly thick eyebrows ..he had his fringe up , exposing his forehead slightly. What I realized is that he would adjust his specs once in a while. My eyes then slowly went down to his arms.

"He is built .. I mean not a surprise as he is way muscular and taller than me." I thought. I then sigh as my eyes went back to his features.

"However .. he looks innocent." I thought.

"So that's what I have so far .." he said as I look at him coldly.

"It's not enough." I said.

"N-Not enough ?" He asked.

"You heard me. It's not enough. At this rate , how are you going to get half a million followers ?" I asked. I then got up , placing both of my palms on the table , leaning on it. I look down to him with a gap in between us.

"You see Khun Zee Pruk. I take my work seriously. So don't let me down." I said.

"Got it ?" I asked and he nod , gulping nervously. I smirk , looking at him.

Is it just me or am I loving Nunew's dominant vibe here ? The way he is sassy towards Rain 😋 The tension between Zee and Nunew is also very HMMM ❤️
