Zee's POV.

I sigh , looking down to my food as I couldn't help but remember Rain's words.

"Khun Nu's grandmother gave him an ultimatum that if the company does not progress well , Khun Nu has to shut down the company immediately." He said making me frown.

"Shut down ? But this company means the whole world to Khun Nu." I said and he nod.

"That's why I am trying to find a way to make sure that he won't lose this company." He said.

"You see Zee , Khun Nu's grandmother is a person who is as cold as Khun Nu. Khun Nu has to listen to whatever she said or else things will go south." He said and he sigh.

"Promise me Zee , that you'll never tell Khun Nu about this. I'll tell him once the time is right but now , keep it a secret between us." He said.

"You've been staring at your food ever since you took it out from the bag." I look up seeing Khun Nu , looking at me.

"I guess the food looks too good to eat." I said as a coverup. He frown , getting up from his desk , walking over to me. He leaned his elbows on the table as I look at him.

"You okay ?" He asked as he placed his hand on my cheek , caressing it.

"I am fine .." I smile , holding his hand that was on my cheek.

"You look like you're hiding something from me. Is there anything you want to tell me ?" He asked.

"Or did I pressure you too much with my work ?" He asked making me chuckle , shaking my head.

"Mai." I said making him smile as he then walked back to his desk.

"Khun Nu." I called making him hum.

"Can I ask you something ?" I asked making him hum as an answer , still looking at his laptop.

"Awhile back , James told me that you were brought up in a oppressive environment .. where you couldn't be yourself .." I said making him stop what he was doing.

"He also said that you never had what you wanted as a child .." I continue as he look at me.

"And that's what makes you ... you now .." I said as he look away.

"So I was wondering if .. your grandmother .. is the reason why you're ..like this ?" I asked.

Nunew's POV.

I sigh , getting up from my seat as I walk towards Zee.

"Do you remember back when we we're sitting by the pool .. and I said that you were lucky to have your mom to take care of you .." I said making him nod.

"You see , Zee , I never got to know my parents .. they died in a car crash when I was just a little kid .. the person who took care of me and brought me up is my grandmother .." I said.

"She taught me and my two sisters how to act properly. She would always emphasize on how we should be perfect. We have sit up straight and we couldn't even put our hands on the dining table." I continue as he look at me.

"She always says that her choices are what's best for me and my happiness." I said , smiling weakly.

"You said you have two sisters .. what happened to them ?" He asked and I sigh , walking towards my desk. I then grabbed a picture , walking back to him as I then placed it on the table.

"My two older sister .. Karin and Gia .." I said.

"The reason why you haven't them is because .. they left .. Karin left because of my grandmother .. grandmother wasn't really happy with what Karin wanted to do in life .. Karin , she loved designing her own clothes .. painting , anything that has to do with art makes her happy .." I said.

"But since grandmother couldn't accept it , she left the house .." I said as he look at the picture.

"It's been years since I last saw her .." I said.

"Then .. what about..your other sister , where is she ?" He asked as I then look at the picture of Gia.

"Gia .. she's .. no longer here .." I said as he then look down after realizing what I meant.

"She .. committed suicide ... a few months after Karin left .." I said before grabbing the picture , placing it back where it belongs.

"Ever since then ..  I am left all alone , trying to make Khun Yãy happy .." I said as he then got up , walking towards me. He then held both of my hands , holding it tightly.

"What about you , are you happy ?" He asked as I look up to him. I then hum , nodding.

"I am .. because now .. I have you by my side .." I said. I then went on my tippy toes , holding his shoulder as I placed a peck on his lips. He smile before leaning down to place another peck on my lips making me chuckle. I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck as I pulled him down , crashing my lips onto his. He replied to my kiss instantly as he held my waist. He then slowly started walking as I walked backwards till the back of my knees hit the table. He lifted me up by the waist , sitting me on the table as he stood in between my legs. He held my nape , kissing me passionately.

I then push him away slightly by the chest , breathing hard as I look at him. He look at me hungrily as I caress his swollen lips.

"Are you sure you want to do it here ?" I asked.

"Unless you want to do it somewhere else .." he whispered as he kissed my cheek down to my jawline. I push him away slightly , smirking.

I chuckled as Zee push the door open. I walked in as I wrapped my arms around his neck , placing my lips on his as he held my waist. He then leaned me against the wall , pulling away as he trailed kisses down to my neck. I sigh , closing my eyes as I moan softly. I then push him towards the couch , straddling on his lap as he squeezed my butt a little. I placed my lips on his , kissing him hungrily.

I soon bite his lower lips before pulling away. He slowly opened his eyes and I soon realized there were red droplets on his neck. I frown , touching it realizing it was blood.

"Khun Nu .. your nose !" He said as I touch my nose , realizing I was having a nosebleed.

"Aow." I said as Zee look at me worriedly.

"Leaned your head and rest here while I go grab a cup of water .." he said , placing me down onto the couch. I leaned my head against the soft couch , looking up the ceiling to stop the nose bleed.

"What a way to ruin the mood , Nhu." I thought before folding my arms in frustration.

I guess our Khun Nu is a little excited 🫣🤭  the chemistry between them must be extra hot , don't you think ? But hey at least we know what really made our Khun Nu as cold as ice 🥺
