I had no clue where he was taking me. He kept a tight grip on the collar of my shirt. I gasped for air. I couldn't breath. Victor would occasionally land on the top of a building and give me five seconds to breath then he would take off again. All the while keeping his grip on my shirt. I could tell by the death grip he had on me that he wasn't about to let go.
"Where are you taking me?" I demanded.
"You'll find out soon enough" he said. An evil grin spread across his face. Then he muttered a few words. My vision blacked and I was out cold.

I woke up a few hours later. Everything was blurry. I blinked my eyes. I had a terrible headache. I try to rub my eyes only to find that my arms are tied to a chair. My legs are also tied to the chair. I struggle, I pull and tug trying to loosen the ropes, only to find that my efforts were fruitless. I look around in hopes of finding something to help free myself, but there was nothing. I close my eyes and slump down in the chair, the exhaustion of the day finally catching up to me. It's funny how you can forget something that has played a huge role in your life. My eyes snap open and I sit up straight. Magic. Why is magic always the answer? I shut my eyes again and focus my energy into my sparks. At least I attempted to. I was so tired that I couldn't do It. I slumped back down in the chair. What am I going to do? right as the thought enters my head Victor walks in with Josh following close behind."Hope you slept well?" Victor said in a sarcastic voice as he shut the door.
"What are you talking about?" I ask.
"Well when I saved your life back there I overloaded your sparks and you blacked out." Victor replied. "I can't imagine the headache you have right now." I stayed quiet. What was he trying to do? Was he trying to get me to say something? Trying to intimidate me? Trying to trick me into giving something away? I just sat there staring at him with a straight face. After a few minutes he finally says something.
"So you are wondering what angle I am playing, I will tell you that I am not playing anything."
"How did you know what I was thinking?" I say astonished at what he had just told me.
"Your thoughts speak volumes." looking at me with a smirk as if he was enjoying how little I knew about magic
"When you have a thought your brain sends it out in waves, humans can't hear them because they don't use their senses to their full ability. But once you discover your magic abilities you can hear more, feel more, taste more, see more, smell more. In some cases you become more powerful, you might acquire unbelievable strength and speed, and in highly rare cases very few people have been known to defy gravity. Last people I remember to be able to do that was Abraham Lincoln, oh and Queen Victoria of England."
I looked at him wide eyed. I couldn't believe it. I don't believe it. What he just told me changed everything. How I viewed things and people. My head was spinning, I suddenly felt dizzy. I shook my head to clear it. "Here now you try." Victor said looking directly at me. I returned his stare. Then I heard words. I couldn't make sense of them because they were coming so fast, most of them jumbled. I couldn't even pick out a single word. Then as quickly as it had started it stopped. "You heard me didn't you?" I could only look him in the eye and nod. Now my eyes were even wider. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Was what I was hearing really true or was it all just a dream? I go to pinch myself, to wake myself from this dream but feel a pain in my wrist. I look down, I had forgotten that I was tied to the chair. The ropes were cutting into my wrists and were getting tighter by the minute. I look up at Victor who has a evil smile on his face."Now you will talk or you will never be able to talk again. Why are you trying to ruin my plans?"
"What are you talking about! I don't understand!"
