Caused me to turn my head ♪

Jungkook's POV

"Hey my baby, why do you look sad? Didn't you say everyone's coming?" Dad asked me cuz I'm sure my face gave it all, since I unintentionally pouted.
I grabbed the glass from my father's hold and asked "what smoothie is this? Why does it look so red?" trying my best to avoid talking about Taehyung.
"That's cuz it has beet root in it and you Jeon Jungkook, do not try to avoid my question now.....tell me why are you sad at the early morning? Did you see a sad movie?" Dad asked and I rolled my eyes at him and settled down on my bed.
Normally, I would talk about these things with my Mom, but she isn't here and dad doesn't know how to give proper advice, he either tries to distract me or tells me something which I can never do.
"Well, you know there's someone who I met recently-" I was cut off by my father's loud gasp which was followed by "the fuck Kook! You didn't tell me you're dating?!" and again I rolled my eyes at his childishness. "Dad stop, I'm not dating anyone, he's just a friend, well I consider him as my friend but he doesn't" and that's when I felt my voice getting shrill. "Why not? You're so lovable Kook, I'm sure he considers you as his friend as well" Dad said and I really wanted to believe it but then my insecurities and Taehyung's behavior came into my mind.
"Dad you know, he's close to yoongi hyung, really close to him and he calls him Tae, even Jimin who met him two days ago he also calls him Tae, but Taehyung doesn't let me call him that, he corrected me the other day when I called him Tae.....i think he doesn't like me." I mumbled, trying my best not to sound too sad.
Honestly, I don't even know why I'm feeling like this, it's not like we knew eachother from before and also it's not like I like him, I sure find him attractive but that doesn't justify me feeling like this.
"Tell me how this guy, Taehyung is." Dad asked out of a sudden and I was happy to describe him, even though I don't know much about him.
"He...he's someone who always has his hood on and he always hides his face with a mask, he doesn't talk much, he doesn't talk unless it's necessary actually, and he has a really deep voice and you know dad, there's something in his voice, it's sounds so comforting for some reason, he sounds like those villains who'll sacrifice everything for his love lol." I explained, cuz I genuinely felt that, blame my delusional mind who lives in fantasy world.
"That means you didn't really see his face?" Dad asked and I nodded and said "No, I didn't but then I saw his eyes, those were almond shaped and one of them is monolid and he has dark brown orbs, if you ever look into them you'll think he's staring right at your soul but also there's something in his eyes you know, those eyes doesn't express anything but void and that's one of the reason I wanna be his friend, I want to know him. I invited him for breakfast and said you'll love to have him here but he rejected and said he's at work but I don't know if he's telling the truth or not." I unintentionally pouted once again after I finished rambling.
"Kook, maybe he's really at work and maybe he's just not accustomed to having people who are this welcoming to him." Dad said, and that kinda made sense but I was still feeling bad cuz he wasn't coming for breakfast.
"Do you wanna participate in the boxing match? It's today." Dad suddenly asked and I gave it a thought for few minutes but then said "nope, I am not in shape....lets start working out from today then will participate in the next match".
"Okay then, let's go watch the match then. I heard a new boxer joined, he's really good at this and he has the highest bets as well." Dad said, excitement laced in his voice.
"You're gonna put your bet on him right?" I asked and he smirked at me and answered my question with another question "and....you're gonna bet at his opponent right? " and of course he was right, I'm sure the new boxer isn't really worth the hype.
