It was almost 3 am when Jungkook and his father reached their mansion. As soon as they entered into the living room they saw Mrs. Jeon Eun-ae, hobi and Jimin sitting on the couch and watching some horror show and the rest of Jungkook's friends passed out on the sofa cum bed, placed on the left corner of the room. Jungkook went over to his mother and hugged her tightly and Jaehyun also went to his wife and kissed her head and whispered something into her ears which others couldn't really hear. Eun-ae noticed how her son was getting sleepier as she kept massaging his scalp gently. "Kook, wake up and go to your room" she whispered into Jk's ears which only made Jk hug her more tightly. "Jimin, hobi go to your room and sleep you have classes tomorrow remember?" Eun-ae scolded them lightly and again focused back on Jungkook when the others went to the guest room. "Kook, you need to go to your room, get up and go sleep comfortably on your bed" Eua-ae once again nudged Jungkook who finally gained back his consciousness and lazily got up from the couch, he kissed his mother once and wished her a goodnight before heading to his room. Jungkook had some concealer, eye shadow and lip tint on and he couldn't really sleep with makeup on so he removed them lazily and was heading to bed when he remembered something. He felt really bad when he denied to visit Taehyung's apartment but then visiting at that hour was not really a very polite thing to do as well, still he thought of apologising once again.

He wonders if Taehyung remembers about sending the pic of his balcony which Jungkook found really beautiful. He doesn't give much thought to it, he was happy that atleast Taehyung talked to him in a little better way than other times.
Meanwhile, when Jk went to his room Jaegyun came out in a pair of pajamas and joined Eun-ae on the couch who leaned into her husband's touch as Jaehyun put an arm around her shoulder. "I missed you and all these kids" she mumbled out, eyes still focused on the movie. "Jungkook and I missed you too and these kids kept complaining about how your cooking is way better than mine" Jaehyun said while chuckling, he noticed that Eun-ae's lips also stretched into a wide smile, she did miss them a lot. Jaehyun was contemplating on whether to tell her about Taehyung or not and Eun-ae noticed the frown resting on her husband's face. "What's wrong? Did Kook do something?" she asked cuz she knows their son can be really troublesome at times. "No he didn't do anything I was just thinking about something.....I'll tell you tomorrow but first I need to talk to Yoongi" Jaehyun said, he wanted to know about Taehyung's wellbeing as he finally found him.
Next morning, Jin was the first one to wake up and then the others woke up one by one. Eun-ae was setting up the breakfast table and almost everyone was there, except for Yoongi, as he was still in the shower cuz he was the last to wake up. Jaehyun took the chance and went into Jungkook's room since Yoongi was using Jk's restroom. Yoongi came out of the restroom in a pair of joggers and a T-shirt, while drying his hair. "Oh hi uncle, good morning" Yoongi greeted Jaehyun with a lazy smile and Jaehyun also returned the smile. "Hey Yoon, I wanted to talk to you about something" Jaehyun wanted to go straight to the point since it was an important matter. Yoongi frowned at his seriousness and nodded so Jaehyun continued. "We met Taehyung at the CVS yesterday right? I confronted him cuz his eyes looked a lot like someone I was really familiar with so, I asked him if he was somehow related to Kim Yeri or not...." Yoongi also stilled for a moment when he heard the name, but didn't say anything so Jaehyun continued "after asking him a few times he finally said that he's her son and- and that he has been living in Daegu for all these years and asked me to keep his identity a secret, which I understand completely. If Taehyung is Yeri's son that means you're his step-brother right?" Jaehyun asked and Yoongi sighed and nodded at that, he was never a person who liked to talk about his personal life but since Mr. Jeon knew so much already and he really trusted him as well so it felt a bit easier to admitting the truth to him. "We were really worried about him when that happened and tried to search for him as well but then all we got to know was that he's alive and safe for now, so we didn't really indulged into it more cuz all we wanted was for Taehyung to be safe and away from this hell" Jaehyun explained and then asked "how's he doing? He said he was doing alright but i saw that void in his eyes, the same familiar void so i know he's going through something, please tell me something about him, anything will do i just want to help him". Yoongi hesitated for a moment cuz it wasn't his part to tell but still he thought of just telling how Taehyung was actually doing. "He's not really good, years ago he ran away to Daegu to his grandma and he was keeping up quite well, he was healing but then Halmeoni got detected with brain cancer and since then he's a wreck. He works like a robot just to make their living and now they just shifted to Seoul bcz Halmeoni's condition is not good, it-its deteriorating and Tae is working like a maniac to earn enough for her treatment, he doesn't care about himself a bit, I'll fear one day I'll loose ky brother bcz of his negligence towards himself " Jaehyun could see those glassy eyes of Yoongi as he explained, so he walked up to him and engulfed him in a tight hug and assured him he'll look after Taehyung now. "Uh but uncle please don't tell the guys about these, Tae doesn't want any one else to know about his real identity" Jaehyun already knew this so he just nodded and smiled at him. "Uh but how do you know Yeri-ssi ?" Yoongi asked out of curiosity and he noticed how Jaehyun's lips turned into a sad smile. "I, Eun-ae and Yeri were best friends since high school, we were inseparable since the moment Yeri and Eun-ae approached me on my first day of school. Eventually, Eun and I fell for each other and got together by the end of our high school and Yeri was the biggest supporter of our relationship, she was the one who made Eun's parents agreed to our relationship but then when we got into university Yeri met Hansoo and that was the turning point of her life. No doubt Hansoo was charming and good looking as hell but deep down we all knew what a piece of shit he was. He kept playing with Yeri and she was too blind in love to believe anything else against Han and they eventually got married. We were still friends but Han never let Yeri hangout with us that often and whenever we were together he would insist me to talk about business and about how he wanted to seal a deal with me and for the sake for Yeri a-and H-hari we sealed the deal. Hari was just one at that time and Kim's were not doing well in the business so we thought of helping them but after she passed out we still used to visit their mansion for the sake of those two kids and Jungkook was also a kid so he used to play with them as well but then as usual that snake backstabbed us which made us a huge loss and eventually they cut off all ties with us but years later when I heard about those two consecutive incidents I just couldn't help but balme myself for not stopping these" Jaehyun explained, by now his mind clouded with past memories which still haunts him to this day and Yoongi knew what exactly Jaehyun was talking about. "Dad, Yoongi come down and have your breakfast or else we'll be late for school" Jungkook shouted out, his voice a but muffled, means he was still eating. Jaehyun and Yoongi hurried downstairs after Jae assuring Yoongi that he'll make sure nothing bad happens to Tae.
