Third Person's POV
"Are you nervous?" Jungkook asks his boyfriend who's sitting beside him and continuously fidgeting with his beaded bracelet.
The duo is sitting in Jungkook's father's home office. They're waiting for Mr. Jeon's lawyer.
"Uh it's just annoying to keep talking about the same shit again and again. I mean I just discussed it with my psychologist a few days back and I literally started sobbing like a baby, but it was still better because she didn't judge me. But...who knows how this one will turn out. And....it just hurts you know. I don't- I don't like talking about all these things." Taehyung sighs out.
Jungkook smiles at his sympathetically, he wish he could somehow make Taehyung feel better. He knows what the other must be feeling right now and it must be terrifying for him. But this needs to be done. Taehyung deserves justice. The little boy deserves justice. It won't be fair to let those people get away with what they did.
"Baby, I'm here. I promise you, Mr. Jung is not going to judge you. He has been working for Dad for years now, and he's really a nice person. Also, he's Hoseok hyung's uncle, and they're very similar. He's energetic as hell. And his jokes are hilarious. Trust me, it'll be okay. I know you must be feeling very overwhelmed right now but this is needed, and also we can stop the moment you feel uncomfortable. Dad will speak with him." Jungkook reassures his lover, as he presses a kiss on the later's forehead.
"Do you want to spend some time together after this?" Jungkook asks Taehyung, as the other leans on his shoulder and rests his head, letting out a sigh of relief.
"I don't think I can...nana's health isn't really great. She keeps forgetting every small thing. I'm sorry, love. I don't think I can stay here for the night." Taehyung mumbles out, sounding really guilty.
Jungkook stills for a second after hearing Taehyung's words, but quickly snaps out of it.
"It's completely alright, baby. It must be because of the side effects of the medicines. Make sure she rests well." Jungkook said as he caresses Taehyung's waist.
"Yeah...honestly she's- I don't know. She's forgetting little things, it's nothing big. But I'm just worried you know. What if one day she forgets me?" Taehyung speaks with a chuckle. He clearly meant it as a joke, but Jungkook could literally feel his heart dropping.
"Taehyung! Don't say such things." Jungkook himself can feel the horror in his own voice.
Jungkook's loud voice makes Taehyung sit up straight.
"Baby, I didn't mean it in that way. Sorry, it was a bad joke. I know she can never forget me. I know that. I just wanted to make the environment a little light. I'm sorry, I upset you." Taehyung presses a kiss on Jungkook's cheek as an apology.
"I know I know. It's just- never say such things, Tae. That sounds horrible. I can never imagine such thing happening to you. I know she's your whole world and you'll be devastated if that ever comes true." Jungkook actually looks like he's about to cry.
"Oh baby..." With that Taehyung pulls Jungkook in for a kiss. It's slow and passionate.
Taehyung never thought he'll have someone like Jungkook ever. He never knew he'll have someone who'll prioritize his priorities as well. Jungkook is probably the sweetest soul he has ever come across. Or who in the right mind would fall for someone like Taehyung? Who in the right mind would help him in every step? Who in the right mind would offer to help his nana when he isn't available?
Taehyung has truly found himself a gem of a person.None of them parts away, until they heard someone clearing their throat.
Shit! They didn't even hear the door opening.
Taehyung pulls away, completely flustered.
And Jungkook tries his best to not whine when Taehyung moves away from his lips.
