Third person' POV
"You want to go meet nana? I didn't tell her about us yet, wanted to surprise her. I know she'll be very happy." Taehyung asks Jungkook as they both walks side by side, their fingers intertwined.
"I was thinking of visiting her. I called her yesterday and she was worried about you since no one said anything to her." Jungkook mumbled out.
"You don't have any extra classes today, do you?" Taehyung questioned as he looked at Jungkook who shook his head, making Taehyung sigh in relief.
If being honest to himself, taking Jungkook to meet his grandma is just an excuse to spend more time with his boyfriend.
Jungkook gave a different kind of comfort to Taehyung and Taehyung didn't want to let go off the boy. Especially now that he was finally his boyfriend, he just wants Jungkook by his side all the time. He loves the attention and care the younger provides him with. He loves the way Jungkook always makes sure he's comfortable no matter what. He loves it when Jungkook prioritizes him.
Taehyung sure had people who loved him, of course he was grateful for his brother and his grandma but he always knew there was a part of him which craved a different form of love.He never experienced his parents' love, he doesn't know how it feels to be loved by his parents but he has witnessed the love between two people. He knows it's a special bond and he always craved for it once he understood the different forms of love.
Taehyung never expressed his thoughts though, he buried those stupid cravings for love deep inside him. He was content with whatever he had, he was happy atleast there were two people who cared for him, but now that he has someone special in his life, he can't help but feel content. He finally had someone to show his vulnerable self, he finally had someone with whom he wasn't afraid to show his real self. He knows Jungkook won't judge him or pity him. He knows Jungkook will be there for him.None of them talked about what happened in the university because Taehyung himself avoided it. He didn't want to have another panic attack. That man ruined everything for him but he won't let that happen again. He can't be a coward, he needs to be stronger, he needs to be ready to face that man again now that they're in the same city.
Taehyung's friends didn't pry him, nor did Yoongi and Jungkook, but both made sure to ask if the other was okay or not.
"You have your first session on Friday, you know? Two days from now...." Jungkook muttered, preparing himself to explain the whole procedure to Taehyung.
"Oh yeah...hyung told me. I'm scared to be honest, what if it doesn't help? What if I end up crying in front of that unknown person? What if they don't believe my words? I'm scared, I want you to be there with me." Taehyung voiced out his worries.
He really wanted to get over of his horrifying past, but that doesn't mean he isn't scared to let go, he isn't scared that people will judge him once he finally let his dirty past go."Taehyungie, I'll be there. I promised you, didn't I? I'll be there, waiting for you right outside the therapist's clinic with your favorite boba tea, then I'll take you out on a date as well. And, trust me when I say, therapists doesn't judge, they're here to help you, they listen, they try to help in any way they can. So what if you cry? She won't judge, you're meant to have breakdowns while discussing private matters which haunts you. Who doesn't cry? You're human, you have feelings, you get overwhelmed. Of course you are allowed to break down. You don't need to always be strong, Tae.....let yourself be free, you're a human, you can't be strong 24/7 can you? It's okay to cry. It's okay to have hard times, you're allowed to feel, you're allowed to be Taehyung, crying or showing vulnerability won't make you weak, love, it'll only make you feel relived, letting go is relieving." Jungkook said softly. He doesn't know how to comfort someone but he's trying just fir Taehyung, he knows Taehyung needs to hear those words, he knows Taehyung seeks comfort.
