Third Person's POV

"Are you done being an ass?" Yoongi asks his brother who's mindlessly scrolling through his phone.

"I'm not being an ass, hyung." Taehyung sighed out for the nth time. Well, Yoongi wasn't wrong. Taehyung was indeed being an ass. A horrible one.

"Taehyung, it's been days since you're giving our friends and especially Jungkook, a cold shoulder. Stop whatever you're doing and talk to your friends, if not us, at least talk to Jungkook." Yoongi warns Taehyung. Yes, he warns.

"I am talking to Jungkook. It's not like I'm ignoring everyone's existence." Taehyung mumbles out, putting his phone aside and taking the bandages from Yoongi.

"Yeah, you sure are. Do you even realize how selfish you look right now?" Yoongi grumbles out, clearly very frustrated and angry.

"Selfish? Yeah, maybe I am." Taehyung scoffs out, as he finally finishes wrapping the bandage around his left wrist.

"Yes, exactly. You are selfish. The case against Hansoo got closed and you won the case, and right after that you ghosted everyone. You ghosted Jungkook and his parents. It's like you're the same old Taehyung again. Just because Halmeoni isn't here, that doesn't mean you have to live a monotonous life! There are people around you who care for you, LOVE you, do you even consider their feelings? Life doesn't stop just because one person left us. I know Halmeoni meant the world to you, but that doesn't mean you'll ignore every other person because she's not here." Yoongi groans out. Finally letting the anger out.

It's been around three weeks since Taehyung won the case against Hansoo with the help of Jung Minsik, the lawyer Jungkook's father arranged for him. And since then, Taehyung isn't exactly acting like himself. It's like he's back to being the Taehyung he was before meeting Jungkook. It's like he's falling into the similar loop he was once trapped in.

No, it's not because people now know his actual identity or what he has gone through.

Of course, he feels uncomfortable at the college when people stare at him and give him looks, but he honestly doesn't care. Hansoo and his worthless wife got their punishment and are now behind the bars, and due to all the frauds Hansoo did to his business partners, no one is ready to help him out, not even his stupid lawyer.

Taehyung mostly goes out without masks these days, since he has no more fear of hiding from people, or Hansoo and his wife, he feels free, but at the same time he doesn't.

He has been going for boxing matches regularly, and is coming back with minor wounds here and there. He left his job at the CVS and only works at the café. It's enough for him, since he's working 5 hours a day, so the pay is enough. Over that, the boxing matches always bring him good money as well, so financially also, he's fine.

But...Taehyung wishes he could say he's mentally and emotionally fine as well. His anxiety is back and he feels like it's worse. The panic attacks might not be frequent, but it's there and over that the nightmares. He can't seem to have peace even in his sleep. So he does what's the best he can, that is spend his nights fighting. Yes, he stopped seeing the therapist.

"Think about what I said. At Least talk to Jungkook, that kid loves you, Tae. I hope you act a little mature." Yoongi says that before leaving Taehyung's apartment.

Yes, he kind of started ignoring Jungkook. It's not like they don't talk, they do, but not in the same way. It's been days since they last held hands, let alone sharing a loving kiss.

Taehyung knows he's slipping into his shell again and he is risking losing Jungkook.

Suddenly at the thought of losing Jungkook, something strikes him. He has already lost his grandma and he isn't ready to lose Jungkook. He isn't ready to let go of those two people who treated him no less than their son.
