Previously,

Jungkook gulps at his own thoughts, instinctively tugging on his lip ring ever so slightly and next thing he knows Taehyung's lips pressed against his own, his eyes widening, as if ready to pop out of his socket any moment.

Third Person's POV

Jungkook doesn't respond for a while, too shocked to even react. He feels the warmth of Taehyung's lips around his lower lip, sucking on it ever so lightly.

Jungkook finally gained his senses a bit when he felt a tug on his lip ring - it wasn't a painful one because he felt Taehyung's lips over his bruised part of the lip, soothing it a bit.
Jungkook has grown a habit of tugging on his lip ring whenever he feels nervous or anxious and the constant tugging left a small cherry red bruise there.

Jungkook felt a mixed positive of emotions bursting in him, he felt happy,  content and everything else altogether because the person he likes or maybe loves is kissing him, Taehyung is kissing him.

Jungkook wanted to respond to the kiss but he doesn't know how to kiss, he has never kissed anyone, Taehyung is his first kiss.
Although Jungkook has read several romantic novels, so if he trusts those pages then he just needs to follow exactly what Taehyung did a few seconds ago, he needs to suck on Taehyung's lips. He does.
He slowly, ever so steadily moves his lower lip - which was trapped in between Taehyung's ones - a bit to suck around Taehyung's upper ones, he slowly moves them, scared of messing up, scared of not being good for Taehyung.

This time Taehyung stops his movements and Jungkook panics at that, thinking he fucked up. So he timidly pulls away from the kiss, there lips merely an inch away.
Jungkook is thankful for the lights which hardly illuminated the room, they were very dim so Taehyung couldn't see the blush adorning Jungkook's cheeks and neither could Jungkook see Taehyung's peach cheeks.

"I...I like you" Taehyung breathed out after few seconds, his eyes closed, as if scared to see Jungkook's reaction.

Jungkook is left speechless again, again he's shocked out of his wits. He opens his mouth and closes it for a few times, having several things to say but he can't voice them out. He just wants to scream in happiness.

When Jungkook doesn't say anything for a few more seconds Taehyung heaves out a dejected sigh, opening his mouth to speak again, but this time he turns to look at Jungkook.

"I understand you may not feel the same for me, ofcourse you don't feel the same for me. I'm way too messed up and my life is just shit, not like your luxurious ones, so I understand if you only see me as a friend. I know you might've kissed me back because it was at the heat of the moment and I u-understand. I'm sorry, I guess I messed-" Before Taehyung could finish his words Jungkook shut him off with his lips, making Taehyung hiss ever so lightly because of the way the lip ring is pressed against his own lip.

"I fucking like you too. You had me from a hello, Taehyung. I fell for you the moment we locked our eyes, I fell for you the moment you bumped into me that day, and I kept falling. I fell for you even more when I got to see your real self, I fell for you after seeing your caring and mature side, I fell for you when you showed me your most vulnerable state and now also I'm falling, but now I know you're here to catch me." Jungkook breathes out, a small smile never leaving his face as he joins his forehead with Taehyung's slightly warm ones.

Taehyung's suddenly feels a gush of happiness, forcing out a tear of happiness.

"I- Jungkook are you for real? Please don't joke around about this, I-"
"Shhh breathe...breathe. I'm not joking, I really really really like you, Taehyung-ie." Jungkook planted a soft peck on Taehyung's right cheek. He suddenly feels confident, maybe because now he knows that Taehyung likes him too? He knows Taehyung would never kid about this, he knows Taehyung is genuine about his feelings and so is he. He has never felt this kind of attachment, attraction and love for anyone else like he feels for Taehyung.
