Chapter Twenty-Six

Sebastian's POV

I grin as I think of what I just accomplished. Finally Clary is on my side and together we will take down the Shadow World. And kill her beloved boyfriend.

Oops, I don't think I mentioned that part of the plan to her.

Oh well, it's better her thinking that Jace is going to be okay because then she'll do whatever I say.

As I stride down the hallway to my office, Amatis runs up to me with a evil smirk on her face.

"Yes Amatis?" I say, impatiently waiting for her to speak.

"Sir, Aloyuis Starkweather has requested to speak to you." She states, showing no emotion.

I lift an eyebrow.

"You mean the Aloyuis Starkweather that runs the York Institute?" I ask, doubting her very much.

"The very one, sir."

I smile.

"Excellent. Show him to my study."

Amatis bobs her head and scurries off.

I pull the lever on the wall and the secret entrance to my office opens. Quickly walking inside, I plop down onto my seat just as Aloyuis walks in.

"Please, take a seat." I motion towards the seat opposite mine.

Shakily, Aloyuis takes a seat.

"Now, should we begin?"
