Chapter Eleven

Clary's POV

After spending what seemed like hours in the kitchen, we finally went back to the library to hear Jace's plan.
"Okay, so you all know how Sebastian sent Clary dreams with dark magic runes in them?" Jace asked.
Everyone nodded.
"Well, maybe if she reverses the rune that Sebastian sent her, we could go home."
"That's actually a pretty good idea." Alec praised.
"I know." Jace said, preening.

I thought over Jace's plan in my head. He thought that if I reversed the rune that brought us here, it would take us home.
There is only one problem with the plan.
I can't remember the rune I drew.

Jace's POV

Everyone seemed to like my plan a lot. Everyone except Clary. She has this look of concentration on her face and her mouth is set into a frown.
"What's wrong Clare Bear?" I asked her. "Don't you like my plan?"
Clary looked up.
"Your plan is brilliant and would probably work, it's just that, well, I forgot which rune I drew." Clary bit her lip and looked at the ground.
Everyone stared at her.
"You're kidding, right?" Isabelle asked.
Clary shook her head.

"Great, now we will never get home." Said Alec.
"I'm sorry." Clary said quietly.
"Well sorry isn't good enough!" Alec shouted.
Clary ran out if the room crying.
"Great, now look what you've done." I say to Alec as I run after Clary.
