"Amy your father is busy!" My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach, I wouldn't be surprised if I became paler by five shades. Johnny and I heads snapped seeing Amy barge in angrily. Ever since we talked about the boys she's been suspicious about what I'm a hiding. That's a vault that I don't want to open but I didn't expect anyone to try to open it. Her face changed from anger to confusion seeing all of us there, Angel looked at her dad Mr.Davenport "I think it's time." He lead us out of his office. Meeting her gaze for a second her eyes were only asking and begging 'what are you not telling me?' I continue my way out acting as if I wasn't aware of her.

"You work for my dad... is that why we're friends?" Her voice cracked her eyes are red and puffy. "Amy no, we just happened to become friends. We became friends before I worked for your dad. Yes I knew about mutants then but I figured you knew too and were keeping a secret too." Her eyes water again, "There's more you're not telling me." I sigh out loud, "It's not my place. Just like it was not my place to tell you about what your dad does." I explain to her unable to look at her. "Tell me. I know you're hiding something I've been trying to figure it out and for the last 3 weeks I've been with the mutants and Vanessa's right. They're exactly like the brothers Raphael, Leo, Mikey do I need to keep going?" I was right but still wasn't my place especially when she couldn't says Donnie's name.
I took a deep breath, "What do you want from me?" I ask as calmly as I can, looking at her I was ready to do what she wanted without saying anything about the guys. "I want you out of my life." Her voice was low but it still sent shock waves throughout my body.
"Amy... you don't mean that. I'll show you to what you want but come on you have to understand that it's not my place. Have you ever told Donnie about him?" I asked her trying to get her to understand that just because you know something doesn't mean you can tell anyone.
"(Y/n) you're not getting out of this. I'm you're friend and this is huge thing you're hiding that effects me and the rest of us. You think that you're protecting us but how do you think we feel right now!" She yelled a bit toward the end. "Clearly it's us or them." She added. I stood there unable to answer her. She shakes her head wiping her tears and walks away from me.

"You know you can't hide here forever." Angel entered the hideout. "Oh no I'm missing a day of school, quick call the army it's a national emergency." I sarcastically reply.
"You haven't talked to them have you?"
"Angel. It's really not for me to tell them that their boyfriends are mutant turtles." I answer him before slamming my first aid kit close.
"Unfortunately I don't have an answer to that. I know I lost my love once that part of the world was revealed to me. Hell your dad thought it was a joke and did everything he could to protect you two from it. Once that door opens, you can't close it, and it'll change everything." His eyes teared up. I knew Angel was married, but we never knew what happened to her. I never asked, just like I refuse to talk about my mother I won't talk about his wife. Crossing my arms, I couldn't help but stay still. Releasing my stubborn stance I sigh, "I want to visit an old friend." I study Angel's reaction to my words. "If that's what you want to do." He pulls me into a hug, " I know you'll do the right thing, like you always do."

I'm missing another day of school as I take a trip. "Long time no see (y/n), so why are you here?" She cut to the chase not even asking about how I was. We never got along but I saved her life so now she owes me one. "I need advice... Relationship advice." I clarified. Her face changed to shock and confusion as she looks directly at me as if this is some sick prank.
"Where are your friends?"
"That bridge burned, and you're the only one who knows everything." I pitifully explain.

At school

The school day was quite as this is the third day without you. The brothers were concerned as there's more to the mutant society they didn't know exist. The girls they became close with were acting strange and ignoring anything about you or your brother. This of course scared Donnie and Mikey the most. Raphael has been looking for you but no sign of you. He talked to Angel only to get "Listen kid, give her time there's so much shit going on." Before your brother will come by to ask about Vanessa, I guess he's also been getting the cold shoulder. The last bell rang as Raphael tried calling you once again but he got your voicemail again.
"Forget it, she's a lone wolf. She'll let you hover around as long as it's convenient" Amy's venom strikes the boys as she storms passed them. With the twin sisters following behind Amy. Before Mikey and Donnie could say anything they continue to walk away. Lunches hasn't been the same either as they sat somewhere else.
