Raphael's POV

"Leo!" I scream my brother's name I knew he was sick, but what (y/n) told me today was not okay.
"Raph, what's wrong now?" He whined from the sofa.
"Why are you following (y/n)?" I question him as I turn off the tv. He looked almost shocked and embarrassed. "I had to be sure she wasn't a threat." He answers.
I felt my eyebrow twitch, "She's a high schooler, not to mention human. How the hell would she be a threat?" I yell. I knew Donnie and Mikey were in the kitchen listening to us argue.
"Raph, there's a lot of rumors about her. None of them are good." He tried reasoning with me.
"Let me ask you somethin' fearless, did you ever take the time to actually get to know her? Cause let me tell ya' somethin' she's not that bad. She never threatened me or try to hurt me. I've seen her scare the crap out of people but they asked for a challenge." I tell him. I didn't get along with (y/n). She's stubborn and a smart ass, a very annoying combination. Plus she keeps most people at a distance which also gets annoying.
"Ohhhhh, Raphael has a crush." I hear Mikey from the kitchen. Snapping my face toward him I growled at him making him hide behind Donnie.
"Fine, I'll leave her alone. Just promise me you'll be safe around her." He asks me with concern filling his eyes.
"Like I said she's human. She isn't a threat to us. She's probably home with her mommy and daddy eating dinner while we live in the sewers." I say out loud before heading to my room and slamming the door behind me. Those humans will never know what it's like. To be a freak, and not even have family outside of your brothers. I know April only had her dad and Casey's parents seem to let him do whatever he wants, but they at least look normal. They don't need a watch to look like it. Taking the watch off I try to dream of a time where we would be accepted by society.

Next day
Your POV

Back at school, we were chilling inside waiting for the bell when a loud voice screamed, "Erica!" We all look to see Mikey rushing toward our group with a smile on his face.
"What's up, Mikey." She smiles back at him. He all of a sudden became shy, "Would you like to be my date for Saturday to the Spanish Heritage festival?"
Erica's face flushed, "Sure, you could meet me at my place." She tells him. Mikey's face lit up like a Christmas tree, "Awesome Dudette, I'll text you when I'm ready and I'll swing by." He says almost jumping. This, of course, makes Erica laugh not in a bad way, but in an exciting way. "Cool." Then the bell rang making students swarm to their first class. They said goodbye, "So you have a date?" Her twin teases.
"Oh shush, besides you guys knew I liked him." She tells us. Erica and Mikey have been getting closer, heck the first day they met they exchanged numbers.
"At least he finally made a move, but unfortunately for me, I'm going to be third-wheeling in Anatomy." I say before walking into my first class.

Time skip to Afterschool

"Johnny!" I yell from the front door. He comes to greet me and gives Vanessa a peck on the cheek.
"Aw, come on. In my own home too." I fake whine. My brother looks at me before wrapping his arms around Vanessa smothering her with kisses. Gross, I rolled my eyes and went into the kitchen.
"You sure you're going to be alright by yourself?" I hear my brother ask me.
"Yea, plus Angel should be home soon." I answer while I grabbed a snack.
"Alright, text me for anything. Don't forget tomorrow we're going to-" I cut him off, "I know we're going to the school tomorrow. Now go before V wants to go home and change again." I tell him pushing him out the door.

Watching scary movies I hear the front door click, "(y/n) you better not be watching scary movies again?"
"Too late!" I answer Angel. He then closes the door and comes to sit next to me.
"You're helping me tonight right?" He asks me as he pauses the movie.
"I'm in my uniform." I tell him before moving the blanket.
"Okay, remember it's Friday night." He reminds me.
"I know, half off of the long island ice tea." I answer him.
"Good, now come on we're about to open." He tells me as he gets off the sofa pulling me up with him.
"You know I'm thankful that you help on Friday and Saturday nights, but don't you ever get asked out?" He then asks me.
"Angel, for the last time I'm not interested in anyone and I'm not dating ever again." I tell him as we head downstairs to open.
