...

It felt like it's been a few days, but in reality, you had been at the shrine for almost three weeks. The days oddly run by quickly as you cleaned the grounds, your chores soon becoming routine.

Every morning felt the same, though it was wildly different, even if the differences were under your nose.

Just like this morning. Today wasn't like the others before where you stayed behind and took care of Sukuna's home and cleaned for Uraume while they went with the curse for home items and offerings.

Today was a different story..

"Hey, you." The gruff voice of the King of Curses alerted you. "Get ready to get going. And wear something decent, be presentable."

"Huh?"

Sitting on your bed, your room is now clean of any dirt or old clothing you may have had when you first moved in. Stared up at Sukuna in confusion, your head tilted slightly.

"You're coming in place of Uraume with me to the markets in town." He said, his red eyes narrowing. "They hurt themselves cooking food last night while you were in the baths cleaning."

"Oh, okay, Master." You nodded, standing and heading to your closet and fishing out some monk clothes.

"Wear a hood over your face so no one can recognize you later on."

With that, Sukuna left to his own room, probably in preparation for the trip. You took a deep breath, getting onto your knees and looking for the hood that Uraume gave to you not long before.

"I thought you'd need it someday."

Thanks, Uraume. Getting dressed in a pure white kimono with black linen for the arms, you tied the blue ribbon around your waist and lifted the hood over your head.

You were tucking your hair into the hood and putting on some shoes when you heard a knock at your door. Turning to face the noise, you saw Uraume with their bob-cut hair in a small ponytail.

"Hi, Uraume." You mumbled, blinking and getting your mind off of their beauty. They're really a beautiful person when you're not focused on their actions.

"He asked you to go in my place, did he?" They asked, stepping into the room.

Nodding, your eyes landed on the bandage covering their hand and forearm. A light gasp left you, to which Uraume noticed and glanced down at the bindings.

"It's not that bad, just a knife cut." They confirmed, lifting the wounded hand up to stare at it. "I tried catching the knife like a fool, so don't worry about it."

"Does it hurt?" You asked, standing once you finished putting on your slippers.

"No, it just aches. Sukuna said to clean while you're gone." They smiled, coming forward and handing you a small basket.

Looking inside, you saw bread and fruit like apples, you assumed was from the garden. Plus, small bundles of cooked meat labeled "Y/n" and "Master."

"Just in case he gets hungry." Uraume said, bowing their head.

You headed out of your room with your co-worker and down the hall. Spotting Sukuna at the main exit dressed as he normally was; a large kimono that no man would be able to fit. White was the base color with turquoise and yellow at the belt and the large bow that held onto his hips.

"Ready?" Sukuna asked, his gaze turning from the birds outside to you.

"Yes, Master." You answered quickly, bowing down. "Thank you for letting me accompany you."
