. . .

A smile graced his lips, but as he opened his mouth, Uraume came in with some towels and barged into the room. Ruining the moment for the both of you and making Sukuna growl in annoyance.

“Uraume, what a surprise..” Sukuna smiled, the forced grin making the monk grin. And Sukuna had a hunch that the monk was actually listening in on them.

“I found some clean towels in Sukuna’s bedroom, so I hope they’ll be good.” Uraume said, smiling and laying out some towels for you and beckoning for you to stand.

Sukuna turned to avoid that embarrassing sight again, waiting until Uraume said it was okay to look over so he didn’t have any more information that his brain could use for later.

“So, I’m going to make dinner with Y/n,” Uraume announced, patting down your back and pushing you behind the changing curtain.

“Sukuna, can you go wait in your room? I’ll send Y/n to collect you for supper.”

“I’m not taking orders from you,” Sukuna retorted, in a sour mood after the one before was so perfect.

He could’ve said something about his feelings, but now he has to wait again until another moment appears for him. Sukuna, though, wasn’t against waiting in his room for a moment. Plus, after taking down a rather energy draining curse, Sukuna had grown tired and hungry.

Maybe he could get a nap in while you two cooked..

Sukuna stood, saying his goodbyes and leaving you alone to change with Uraume handing you a night gown. You had gotten awfully attached to these nightgowns.

But they were so nice and felt good against your clean skin, you had to wear them. So, after you got some undies on, you followed Uraume into the kitchen and began to cook the meal. They had planned a while ago, but the meal was rather simple but complex.

It was like a blended learning experience for you.

There was the normal cooked boar that had been cooking since this morning with a weird seafood thing that they said Sukuna liked. It was green and dried, with some salt sprinkled onto it; Uraume said it was seaweed.

You didn’t like the smell of it, but weren’t about to judge Sukuna for his taste in food.

After you finished making these soft bean paste buns, you brought them over and plated them. You also prepared the dumplings, some fried tofu, and these little dipping sauce bowls full of spicy and sweet sauces that Uraume made by hand.

Once you were finished plating the food and getting the cart into the dining room, you both got the placement mats in their spots. Getting all the food in a circle around the large boar plated in the center of it all, you stood and excused yourself to get the sleeping King of Curses.

You entered the room quietly, like you have many times before. Making your way around the room to pick up some things first before walking over to the large body on the massive bed. You could hear Sukuna’s calm snores from on the mattress, but you felt a little guilty about waking him.

And a little flustered, considering how he was holding your face earlier..

Shaking your head, you climbed up the opposite side of his large mattress and gently pushed on his shoulder. He didn’t react after a while, but eventually woke up with the foggiest crimson eyes you’ve ever seen.

“I’m sorry to wake you Master, but dinner is ready.” You calmly said, your voice low as Sukuna lifted himself up to rest on his elbows.

“Hmm, thank you.” Sukuna responded, taking a deep and sleepy breath as you began to scoot closer and help him out of bed.
