Authors note: Hello! Welcome I'm excited to be writing this fanfic. The picture above is how Airi looks like in middle school, long brown hair but with hazel brown eyes. I'm begining with High☆Speed- Free!Starting Days! since it starts off when they're young.

3rd Pov

Today was Airi's first day of middle school. She got out of bed and quickly put on her school uniform. She looked at herself in the mirror being a little insecure about how short the skirt was. Airi grabbed a brush and put her hair into a pony tail leaving her bangs out. Once she was ready, she headed downstairs where her mom already finished breakfast.

"Oh honey you look so cute in your school uniform. Let's take a picture after you're done eating." Her mom Kate said.

"Moooom" Airi looked away in embarrassment as she sat down to eat breakfast. Soon she checked the clock on the wall and realized she had 20 minutes until school started. She got up and got her bag but before that she was stopped by her mother.

"Come here it'll only be a second." Kate said.

Airi signed and stood against a wall smiling for the camera. Once that was done, she headed out and saw Makoto running down.

"Makoto? What are you doing, why are you running? We're still early for school." Airi said.

"Oh good morning Airi. I stopped by Haru's place and his mom told me that Haru went to the swim club so I'm gonna go get him. I'll catch you later." Makoto briefly stated as he started running towards the swim club.

"I'll catch you later?" Airi questioned. "What's that all about?"

Airi reached the school in no time, sparing 10 minutes. She decided to head to the auditorium since that's where the opening assembly was taking place. The auditorium was already quite filled which surprised her. She tried finding someone she knew but no luck until she heard "Airi?". Recognizing the voice, she immediately turned around with a smile on her face.

"Ikuya hey its been a while hasn't it. I'm glad someone I know is here." She smiled at her cousin.

Ikuya smiled back and sat down next to her as they waited for the assembly to start.

The assembly was over quickly and all the first years were let out first to check their classes. Ikuya and Airi went to check the board and were surprised when they saw that they were also in the same class. But not only that, one name stood out to her Nanase Haruka.

"Guess we're in the same class huh?" Ikuya stated.

"Yeah guess so and another friend of mine is also in our class. I'll introduce you to him." Airi looked around until she spotted a familiar tall olive hair color.

"HEYYY MAKOTO" Airi shouted through the crowd. She looked back at Ikuya and dragged him with her.

"H-hey!" Ikuya protested.

Airi pushed through and smiled once she saw Makoto and Haru. "Haru I'm so glad we're in the same class. And Makoto, I'm sad that we're not in the same class but at least we'll see each other in joint classes. Oh but first, let me introduce you to someone. This is Ikuya Kirishima, my cousin. Ikuya, this tall guy is Tachibana Makoto and the other is Nanase Haruka, he's gonna be in our class".

"N-nice to meet you" Ikuya stuttered.

"Please to meet you too Kirishima" Makoto smiled sweetly.

"Hey Tachibana!" a short brown haired boy said.
