Operation: Perfect date!

Rin's Pov

"...and that's the plan" I explained.

"So you want us to set up everything for your date while you distract Airi? But how do you want us to get Airi to not go to the art club today?" Makoto asked.

"Just come up with something that'll get her to come outside the school. Don't forget to bring supplies from the art club." I mentioned.

"But will we have enough time to set up the picnic? Logically speaking, it'll be best if Airi went to the art club for a bit as we set everything up, then we can pick her up." Rei suggested.

"Yeah, good point." I agreed. 'They are helping me go through all this trouble, I don't want them to rush everything to the point it's half-assed..'

"I got it! Haru-chan and Mako-chan can go set up the picnic while me, Gou-chan, and Rei-chan can get the art supplies. We can say Haru-chan got into a fight with a swim team and we need all swimmers on deck!" Nagisa added.

"I'm counting on you. There's one more thing..." I turned to Haru.

"Haru...can I borrow one of your spare uniforms?"

"Why?"

I looked away embarrassed. "B-because..."

"Big brother you're such a romantic!" Gou teased.

"Shut up!"

"You want to have matching uniforms with her, don't you?" She giggled.

I turned away bashfully.

"Fine, here you go. Make sure you give it back to me." Haru handed me his spare uniform.

I put the uniform in my bag. "Thanks, you guys!" I left and headed back to Samezuka.

The next day, I canceled practice for the day.

I changed out of Samezuka's uniform and put Iwatobi's uniform on.

"It's so stiffy..." I loosened the tie and unbuttoned the top buttons.

"And where are you going, all dressed up like that?" Sousuke asked, startling me.

"Sousuke" I rubbed my neck. "I thought you'd be practicing in the pool."

"I just came to get my stuff. So...you canceled practice to be with her huh?" He asked.

"Yeah, she deserves that much. We haven't spent any time together as of late. Anyways I gotta go." I headed out the door and made my way to Iwatobi High.

On my way there, I stopped by a flower shop and bought a bouquet of roses.

As I was approaching the school, my phone buzzed.

From: Makoto
To: Rin

We finished setting the picnic up. You can bring her over now.

I replied and waited outside for her.

-1st Pov with Airi beforehand-

*Ringggg* The bell rang, signaling that the day was over.

I put my stuff away and stood up. "I'm off. I'll see you later Haru, Makoto!" I waved to them and went off to the art club.

"Hmm, no Megumi yet?" I wondered. 

Megumi was usually the first person here as the president. But it's not a big deal, she could be held up by schoolwork or even the teacher. A few members were here already and some were still coming in.
