A/N: It's Haru's birthday today! June 30th. Enjoy the chapter!

As promised, the next morning, I went over to the Matsuoka's. I was in Rin's room and looked around the room. I noticed all his trophies, so I grabbed one of his trophies to get a closer look.

"You sure have a lot of trophies."

I looked back at Rin. He was crouching down and placed his pillow on his bed. He stood up and stretched his back.

"Please, I know you have just as much, if not more." He stated.

I chuckled. "Yeah, you're right."

My eyes drifted towards a picture frame next to his trophies. Curious, I grabbed it and smiled once I saw it.

It was a picture of Rin and Kou when they were young and their father

It was a picture of Rin and Kou when they were young and their father. I placed it back down and sat on his chair near his desk. There was a box on his desk. I hesitantly grabbed it.

"Oh...thats-" Rin said before I opened the box.

My eyes widened. I picked up the papers that were inside. It was the letters I had sent him.

"Rin...I can't believe you held onto these."

Rin smiled softly. "Of course I did. They're special because it made me feel closer to you. That was the only form of communication I had with you...it helped me feel not alone. What, don't tell me you expected me to throw them out after reading them, did you?" He teased.

I simply stared at him, blinking a few times. "Actually I did."

"Hey!"

"I'm only joking, Rin. But...I have to admit...after you stopped writing to me, I thought you wanted nothing to do with me. So, I guess in a way, I did think you threw them away after that. I still kept all your letters, though." I told him.

Rin's eyes softened as he stared at me. "Airi..."

Footsteps were heard from down the hall, so I turned to see who it was.

"Onii-chan!"

Kou appeared near the entrance of his room.

"Do you need a hand unpacking?"

"No thanks. I'm good. All that's left is the stuff I'm taking to Australia." He explained.

Kou's pet cat named Steve pokes his head in.

"Steve, did you get bigger again?" Rin said as he crouched down to pet him.

Steve completely ignored Rin and went towards my feet and layed on them.

Rin sighed. "He doesn't like me, as usual. How come he likes you?"

"Maybe you should visit more often. Who's a good boy?" I cooed at Steve, playing with him as he kept cuddling my feet.
