FS3! Adjusting to Tokyo

It has been three days since I've moved here to Tokyo. However, my moving truck has yet to come. Meaning that I'm unable to fully settle in. I've been stuck sleeping on this big bean bag I bought the other day.

*Ring Ring*

I picked up my phone to see a random number. Regardless, I still answered.

"Hello?"

"Am I speaking to Kirishima Airi?" The voice spoke. It sounded like a man.

I was cautious about how he knew my name. "Yes, it is. Who am I speaking with?"

"It's the moving truck. We're so sorry there's been a delay, but we should be arriving shortly around noon. Will you be home at the time of our arrival?" He asked.

"Really! I'm so glad. Yes, I will be here."

"Okay, we'll see you then."

I ended the call and looked at my clock. It was currently 10 am. I scrolled through my phone to dial Makoto's number.

'I hope he's not busy today.'

Makoto instantly picks up.

"Good morning, Airi!"

"Good morning, Makoto! Say, are you busy today?" I asked him.

"I'm not. Why?"

"Well, my moving truck is coming around twelve. I was wondering if you would help me move them into my apartment."

"It finally came, huh? Of course I'll help. Just send me your address. What time should I come over?" He asked.

"Well, they should be here around twelve, but it's better if you come a little earlier."

"Alright, I'll be there in a bit."

"Thank you so much! Say, is Haru with you?"

"No, he's not."

"Oh, okay. I guess I'll just call him then. Bye, Makoto!"

I ended the call and dialed Haru's number.

'He's probably not going to pick up. Maybe it'll just be me and Makoto.'

To my surprise, Haru picked up after a few seconds.

"Hello?"

"Oh, you picked up for once. I didn't expect you to answer. Good morning, Haru." I teased him.

"Morning. I'm trying to be more responsive on my phone since we all don't live near each other anymore." He explained.

"I see. Anyways, are you free today?"

"Yeah."

"My moving truck is coming at twelve, so I was wondering if you would help me move my stuff into my apartment. Makoto is coming, too."

"Sure. I'll be there." He replied.

"Awesome! Do you need me to send you my address?"

"No, it's okay. I remember how to get there. I'll be there soon."

"Thanks, Haru!"

"No problem."

I ended the call and decided to clean up the place a little and make space.

I opened the door. "Ah, welcome, Makoto. Thanks for coming."

"Sorry, am I late? I'm still having trouble navigating around. Tokyo is not like Iwatobi." He said.

"Don't worry about it. Come in, Haru is already here." I stepped aside so that I could let him in.
