65. Mini's proposal

There was stairs ahead of him which he knew that it lead it to the music room.

He came to the music room. He opened the door. It was dark and Mini was under a dimlight. 

He saw Mini sitting on the piano bench, in beautiful red suit, her side bun and two curled hair locks enhancing her beautiful face.  

Ho.. sun saathiya maahiya
Barsa de ishqa ki syahiyaan

Mini sang while blushing, lowering her head while playing the piano. 

Rang jaaun, rang rang jaaun ri, haari main

She slightly raised her face and glanced at Neil.

Tujhpe main jhar jhar jhar jaaun
Hoon piya bas teri main
Ho chhu le toh khari main

He came behind her and kept his hands on her either shoulders. She smiled brightly while blushing.

Ho.. sun saathiya maahiya
Barsa de ishqa ki syahiyaan

He wrapped his arms around Mini's neck and bend down. His face was exactly to the right of Mini's. 

Mini tilted her face a little and her cheeks rubbed against his. She then turned her face towards his and pecked him on his cheek. 

Main ret si, boond ka zariya tu
Paa ke tujhe bheeg jaaun re (x2)

Neil was surprised. He looked at her. Mini turned her face to the other side blushing hard, closing her eyes.

Tar jaaun tar tar jaaun
Dariya ye tar jaaun jee

Neil held her chin by his fingers and turned her face to him singing for her. She without opening her eyes, blushed hard.

Ishq ye paake main tera
Nikhar jaaun ri...

Her heart was beating faster. He sang the male verse and pecked on her forehead.

Piya bas teri main
Ho.. chhu le toh khari main
toh khari main khari main...

Mini with closed her eyes, continued singing the female verse blushing hard. He ran his fingers on her face while her smile widened.

Ho.. sun saathiya maahiya
Barsa de ishqa ki syahiyaan

Mini opened her eyes, looking in Neil's eyes, sang the final lines. Neil was looking at her lovingly.

She got up from the piano bench. Mini made him sit next to her on a sofa and switched on the lights from behind. He saw the music room beautifully decorated with artificial flower strips and some vases.

Mini was looking a little nervous.

Neil was still not able to comprehend what's Mini going to say now??...... Mini held his chin and made him look in her eyes..... She held his hands in hers and took a deep breath.

Mini: So, Mr Neil Oberoi..... Right now... I want to confess my feelings to you.... (closing her eyes in nervousness and tightening her grip on his hands) You had made me feel the emotions of love inside me.....So for me 'LOVE IS YOU, Neil' ..... Pure... pious.... blissful.... nothing else.... no one else..... just the peaceful emotion for a single person in the whole world.... (opening her eyes and looking into his deep orbs).... for me 'LOVE IS YOU'... just you.... So.... Will you be 'my personal' Chef Neil Oberoi ever after?... Would you like to be 'just mine' for the rest of your life?

Neil nodded happily and tears of joy fell down from his eyes. He immediately hugged her tightly with immense love...... She felt as if he was trying to pour all his love in that single bone crushing hug. She knew his throat was blocked and he was not able to say anything at that moment..... So he just hugged her tightly.

Some time later, they parted and Neil looked at her and could see her smiling wholeheartedly... it was a smile of contentment... it was a smile of confession of feeling.. it was the smile of love.

He got up from the sofa and then bent down on one knee.

Mini's face changed: (in mind) Are yaar Neil vo creepy clingy wala proposal nahi plz.....

Neil: (after clearing his throat) Don't worry Me tumhe filmy tarike se propose nahi karunga.... mujhe pata hai tumhe nahi pasand...

He sat down on one knee..... kept her foot on his lap. She was confused but then he took out two anklets from his pockets and made her wear one.... she was surprised.... then took her another foot and made her wear another one. 

Neil: Yeh mere mom ke anklets hai....papa ne gift kiye the... unki 20th marriage anniversary pe....  reminding her of the promise he made to her, to be hers, beside her, with her.... till his last breath.... which he did fulfilled.

Mini felt the baggage of emotions he was carrying with the anklets and the feeling he wanted to convey by giving these to her.

Neil: Me yeh tumhe dene ke liye hi bank se lekar aaya tha... Parso yahi lene gaya tha..... lekin... phir.....samajh nahi aa raha tha ki.... kab aur kaise du?... Kya bolke du?..... Aaj wapas aate time yahi soch raha tha ki aaj tumse vo sab confess karunga main jo main feel karta hu.... Vo ghabrahat phir feel ho rahi thi... But now.... because of you.... here I am.... free from the clutches of the life's tragedies.... free from all my nervousness.....  free to confess my feelings wholeheartedly to you.....

Neil sat beside Mini and held her hands in his. He looked deep in her eyes.
