45. Neil is insecure

Neil was in the kitchen but the conversation between Mickey and Mini were ringing in his mind. He was confused but since he had not yet confessed his own feeling, he could not even ask Mini about it.

Some particular words were ringing in his mind continously.

Hi Soulmate!

Neil: Usne Mini ko soulmate kyu bola?

Mere soulmate ko mujhse baat karne ka time nahi tha?

Neil: Mini bhi usko soulmate bol rahi thi...

Tujhe Good News batani thi.... Sabse pehle tujhe hi batana chah raha tha...

Neil: Kyu Mini ko hi sabse pehle batana tha usko?

Neil: Mini miss karti hai usko?... par aaj tak kabhi naam tak to suna nahi maine... par aisi koi baat bhi nahi hui hamari kabhi....

Neil: Vo milne bhi gayi thi America tak.... aur vo mila bhi nahi theek se... aur Mini ko koi problem nahi tha...

aaj tujhe phir se saalon purani wali Mini ko dekhke bahot accha lag raha hai... Phir se waise hi chirpy aur cute.... Jaise pehle thi.... Aisehi rehna...

Neil: Saalon purani wali Mini matlab?

You were right..... I have survived Mickey. See... I have survived.... from my problems... my insecurities.... my worries.

Neil: Mini ne aisa kyu bola?

Teri yeh smile jo wapas aa gayi hai.... uss din yeh smile kho gayi thi kahin vo aaj dekhi hai dobara.... ab isko khone mat dena. Ha bilkul aisehi.... You know na bahot acchi lagti hai tu iss smile ke saath....

Neil: Mini ki smile ki taareef bhi kar raha tha...

Neil: Mini apne low phase me usi se baat karti thi kya?

Jokes apart.... You know what?.... I do feel that you are not just smiling like before... you are happy too... Bahot saalon baad phir vo khushi dikh rahi hai tere face pe... aur ek alag hi chamak hai... Neil: Vo itna kuch kaise jaanta hai Mini ke baare me?... Kaise samajh aa gaya usko ki Mini kaisa feel kar rahi hai?

Ha... tujhe sab pata chal jaata hai na... ek to yeh pata hai mujhe bahot dangerous lagta hai pehle se hi... Tujhe bas yeh pata hone ki zarurat hoti thi ki current situation kya hai... baaki tu jaise padh leta tha.... ki kya chal raha hai mere dimaag me... Neil: Vo bhi meri tarah sense kar paata hai kya Mini ko?... Roz usse baat karti thi... kya vaise hi jaise mujhse karti hai?... itne close the kya dono?

Isiliye bakwaas karti thi na tu pure din ki... Camelia tera dimaag khati thi pure din aur tu apni raat aur meri subah dono me mera dimaag khaati thi...

Neil: Mini kisi aur ke saath bhi itni open thi kya?... Jaise vo mere saath hoti hai...  Aise complaining tone me bol raha tha phir bhi Mini was calm...

Much... much... relaxed.... isiliye to tujhe phone kiya meri Soulmate.... Teri chapad chapad bahot miss kar raha tha...

Neil: Relaxed hoke Mini ko phone kyu kiya hoga usne?... Mini ko miss kyu kar raha tha vo?

Hmm... To sun li meri chapad chapad?.... Ab khush?...

Neil: Mini ko uske tease karne se bhi koi problem nahi thi...

Bas aisehi dost har kisi ko mile... Love you yaar..

Dost to tere jaisa bhi har kisi ko chahiye hota hai... So it's a tie... Bye.... Love you too.

Neil: Dono love you to aise bol rahe the jaise har baar hi bolte ho... 

Neil was sitting lost in thoughts and the staff saw this.

They continued their work and the restaurant was running smoothly.

Mini came out of her cabin.

Neil was now having headache thinking so much. He pressed his head lightly.

Mini saw him pressing his head. She came to the kitchen.

He was also looking lost in thoughts.

Mini: Neil?

Neil: H?...

Mini: Kya hua?... Sar me dard hai?

Neil: Ha halka sa... (excuse) Recess ke baad se ho raha hai... but I'll manage.

Simpy came to Mini and took her aside.

Simpy: Bahot der se kuch soch rahe the... mujhe to lagta hai soch soch ke hi sar me dard kar liya hai... aap chutti hi dedo inko aaj... vaise bhi itni soch me kahin kuch gadbad kar di to humko hi chillayenge.... Pehle bhi ek do baar aisehi sochte sochte gadbad kar chuke hai... isiliye aaj hum kuch karne nahi de rahe hai... inki daant se bachne ke liye...

Mini: Baat to aap sahi hi bol rahe ho... (chuckling) Isko khadoos hote time kaha lagta hai...

Mini came to Neil.

Mini: Suno Neil... aaj half day lelo... ghar jao.. thoda rest kar lo. 

Neil: Nahi... Iski zaroorat nahi hai... I'll manage... You don't worry.

Mini: Vo dikh raha hai... how you'll manage.... Go... Take a leave.... Baaki kaam staff sambhaal lega.

Neil: But..

Mini: No ifs and buts.. Go.

Neil: Ok.

He went to the haveli and sat in his room.
