Ten: Percy turns into an angry Chihuahua

"Oh my fuck, Grover."

Grover squeaked nervously as Percy approached him. "W-what?"

"Some guy named Travis wants to ask out Sen!"

"Oh my-" Grover paused. "Isn't she single?"

"Yes!"

"And he knows you two aren't together?"

"Yes! He even asked for my permission!"

Grover deadpanned. "Oh my gods! A- a single man in Sen's age group wants to ask her- an eligible bachelorette- on a date? We must alert Chiron!"

Percy glared. "Grover?" He warned.

Grover sighed. "Sorry, but Travis is a really nice guy. Super fun, too. He steals a lot and breaks the rules, but it doesn't ever hurt anybody, and we all really like him. It's sort of endearing when he steals from you, in fact."

"Stop saying good things about him! Say something bad!"

Grover gulped. Percy knew Grover didn't have it in him to be mean, but he was hoping for anything at this point. "He... uh... he runs really fast!"

"THAT'S NOT BAD!"

"I'M SORRY! HE'S A REALLY GOOD GUY!" Grover whined. "Percy, look. Why is it wrong for him to ask her out? You don't have a crush on her, right?"

"No! But, I don't want some stupid guy to break her heart and make her all sad and stuff." Percy grunted. "But ohhhhh noooo, Travis is just a superb human being!"

"He is pretty nice, dude."

"Ugh!" Percy grunted. He turned away. His eyes widened as he peered into the training area from where he and Grover stood. Sen was battling Luke, and he was smiling and nodding along like she was doing a good job.

In the stands, Travis was watching, and clapping along with Annabeth.

"No! He's gonna ask her out after she's done training!" Percy moaned as he clawed at his face.

"Um... okay?"

"He's gonna ruin her! She's gonna be so sad when they break up!"

"Dude, she might not even say yes."

Percy paused. He turned to look at Grover, whose face was panicky, like he was realizing his mistake. He bleated nervously and tried to run off, but Percy pointed at him.

"You're right. She's gonna say no!"

"What?!" Grover bleated again. "It's not for sure!"

Percy began watching again. "She's gonna say no!"

Sen stopped fighting Luke. Both were panting, and Luke was smiling and nodding.

"We have to get closer to hear." Percy said as he started walking down the hill. "I need to hear it!"

"Dude, you seriously don't have a thing for her?"
