TRAVIS | CONNOR

˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀

Travis and Connor ran around the Plaza Hotel, finding new rooms at each turn. Annabeth had said not to steal, but like... they're sons of Hermes. You don't tell those guys not to steal. It just makes them steal more.

And besides, Sen said it was okay, and her word trumps all.

Connor slid open the door to some guy's room. The guy was still passed out on the bed, trapped under Morpheus's spell, and it gave Travis time to sneak in and root through the whole place.

"Hurry up, man! It's almost time!" Connor yelled. They were about to march to war, and the boys were trying to stomach just how terrified they really were.

"There isn't jack shit in here!" Travis barked back "Unless we give her a Rolex?"

"We can't give her a Rolex!"

"Well, that's what you get when it's some rich guy's room!" Travis barked back. The boys ran to the next room, and found a rich lady and her husband passed out on the bed. Immediately, they started looting the room.

"What about this?" Connor held up a bangle.

Travis examined it. "Nah, her wrist is too small."

"Ugh, stupid hobbit women." Connor growled.

"I'll tell her you said that."

"I dare you." Connor grinned.

Travis found something and held it up. "Yo, what about a ring?"

"She has rings." Connor retorted.

"Can never have too many rings!"

"She'd think it's 'tacky.'"

"Maybe." Travis went back to looking and produced the perfect item. He held it up, letting it dangle in the air. Connor gasped when he saw it and nodded excitedly. Travis passed it to his brother, who pocketed it. Travis had a bag of candy on his person, which would be the second part of their present. They left the room and ran back to the lobby.

Annabeth stood in the hallway, her arms crossed and foot tapping. Travis skidded to a halt and Connor nearly ran into him, but he stopped just in time.

"What did you do?" Annabeth questioned.

The boys gulped. They'd grown up with Annabeth, and had always pulled a lot of pranks on her. They read her whole diary out loud to their cabin once when she was ten. Another time, they left a tarantula in her bed, and she actually almost killed them. As they got older, though, they had to ease up. Annabeth was literally one of the most dangerous demigods of their generation, and the Stolls did not want to cross paths with her if they could help it.

"It's for Sen." Travis blurted out. "A present. From us to her."

"You can't tell her, though." Connor insisted. "It's a secret."

Annabeth didn't look like she bought it. "Show me."

Travis produced the bag of candy.
