SEN

The demigods took either side of the field. So far, it was working.

I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU! Aphrodite screamed in Sen's mind. YOU STEAL MY SACRED ARMOR AND MAKE THEM THINK YOU ARE ME?! YOU COULD NOT EVEN BEGIN TO LIVE UP TO WHO I AM!

Sorry, meemaw.

DO NOT EVEN-

"Hyperion!" Sen bellowed. The armor wasn't very heavy physically, but it still carried a lot of weight. Sen noticed how she was taller, more visibly athletic, and how her skin changed colors. She could practically feel her features shifting. She was glad for that, since it meant her troops wouldn't discover her so quickly. They needed courage. They needed to believe a goddess was on their side.

Twenty feet away, Hyperion raised his sword. His eyes were terrifying- gold, like miniature suns.

"Well, well." Hyperion chuckled. "A love goddess? Zeus sends me a love goddess?"

"Oh, this will not be hard, Hyperion!" Sen had to talk different. It's all about the show. They have to think you're Aphrodite Areia. "After all, you Titans are perhaps as bright as a dumpster!"

Hyperion growled. "You want bright?"

His body ignited in a column of light and heat. Sen couldn't look away- they'd know she wasn't Aphrodite, but she closed her eyes. Even so, she was still blinded.

She breathed deeply. You are strong. You will be fine. You have to make them think they can win. Sen had no other choice if she was to kill Hyperion. Nobody else could possibly take him- no one in her troops.

But a goddess? A goddess could fight a Titan.

Sen couldn't see, but instinctively, Sen raised her shield. Hyperion's blade slammed against it. The shock wave sent a ten-foot ring of force throughout the park, rustling trees and stirring grass. Sen could hear her troops rallying and fighting the monster army while she took on Hyperion.

Sen's eyes still burned. She had to shut off Hyperion's light.

Her charmspeak usually did the bare minimum, but she had no choice. Right now, she had to channel every ounce of power into her words- the power of Aphrodite Areia.

"You are nothing! You are but a dim glow! If you think you can stand up to me, you're a FOOL!"

It worked. Her words washed right over Hyperion and he dimmed out, almost looked ashamed of himself.

Sen roared as she charged forward with her spear and shield. It'd never been her weapon of choice, but this is what Aphrodite Areia fought with, and she fought good. Sen had to bring that to the table. Hyperion deflected the spear with his sword and Sen flipped out of the way, channeling every single one of her powers into this fight. It'd be one of the most important ones of her whole life. Hyperion swung but Sen jumped up above his head.

Part of her worried what her troops might think. Hey, goddesses can be any size! Why would she remain so short against a TITAN?! But in general, the Titans were larger than the gods. Annabeth and her siblings would probably realize this, and keep that belief going.
