"SEN!"

Sen screamed and tripped on a rock as Percy appeared next to her. She went flying into the dirt, and just laid there, groaning at her failure. She didn't want to get up. Living in the dirt seemed like a good idea.

"Percy?" She asked, her voice muffled. "What a lovely surprise."

"How was your date with Travis?" Percy said rapidly. As Sen stood up, she saw him bouncing on his toes. His eyes were wide and his pupils were dilated, so he looked like he'd been drinking espressos every hour on the hour.

"Um, good." Sen smiled, her cheeks heating up a bit. "We're going to train together tomorrow."

"Fun!" Percy smiled manically. "Very fun! So are you guys dating now?"

Sen leaned back as Percy leaned forward, still grinning like a maniac. "Um. I didn't think to ask. I mean- we kissed, but... I dunno. Why are you being weird?"

"I'm not! Just happy for my friend is all!" Percy said with a scarily forced laugh. "So, you like him, huh?"

"Uh, yeah. He's nice. He even got some chocolates for me!" Sen pulled the small box out of her bag and opened it up. "Here. I saved the blueberry ones for you."

Percy's gaze fell as he stared at them. Sen found herself blushing again, almost scared at the change.

"Oh. That... that was really nice of you." Percy nodded as he took one. Sen saw his bracelet on his wrist, and she smiled. "Thanks, Sen."

"Yeah, of course. Do you know where Grover is? I want to give him the box. He mentioned liking tissue paper and cardboard, so I think this is perfect." Sen nodded.

"That's thoughtful." Percy nodded.

"Oh, and Annabeth? I saved a lemonade for her."

"How kind." Percy gulped. "Uh, they're at the lake. We were just there."

"Oh! I didn't see you guys." Sen said. "Well, here. Take the blueberry ones so I can give Annabeth and Grover their stuff."

Percy awkwardly took the last two blueberry chocolates. Sen closed the box, and stared at Percy.

"Are you okay?" She ventured slowly. Percy looked at her, and his smile seemed more genuine than before.

"Yeah. Thanks for the chocolates, Sen. Have fun with Travis." He nodded. "I gotta go. Annabeth is gonna hunt me down to teach me Ancient Greek."

Sen smiled and turned. She began walking down to the lake, a happy smile on her face. Annabeth and Grover were pulling their canoe onto the shore. Annabeth wiped sweat off her brow and caught sight of Sen.

"Oh, hey. How was your date?" Annabeth asked.

"Really good." Sen nodded. She dug in her bag. "For you."

Annabeth thanked her for the lemonade and chugged half of it at once. "Where's Percy?"

"Avoiding your lesson. He didn't say where he was going."
