"DEAPOINA! let us all welcome the new owner of this island, Mr. Sugalda." Sumabay ako sa palakpak nang marinig ang sinabi ng host, I smiled and look at the stage where Lim slowly came out.

Lahat ng tao ay lumakas ang mga hiyawan lalo na ang mga babae, this is also the first time that Lim will address himself as the owner of Deapoina.

"Oh my gosh! ang gwapo!"

"Ang hot ni fafa!"

"Hoy palahi naman!"

Hindi ko mapigilang mapangiwi kapag naririnig ang mga sigaw ng mga tao sa likod at gilid ko, kahit bakla nakikisali na rin. I rolled my eyes and keep my attention for my husband, naglalakad ito patungo sa gitna dala dala ang mikropono.

Inayos nito ang buhok at lumibot ang mga mata niya sa paligid na parang may hinahanap hanggang sa dumapo ang mga mata niya sa akin, I quickly smiled and clapped my hands without a sounds that makes him smile.

"I would like to thank to all of you," mas lalong lumakas ang sigawan ng lahat dahil sa sinabi niya at dahil na rin sa malalim na baritono niyang boses.

"Okay that's fine," natatawa na rin siya sabay kamot sa kanyang ulo na parang naiilang talaga sa lahat ng tao.

"I am Lim, the son of this island's former owner and I am really happy to celebrate this anniversary with all of you. It all started with my father, falling in love with a girl; I mean a simple Filipina girl he found here in this province." Lahat ng tao ay napatango, so totoo pala ang narinig ko no'ng first day.

"He improve this island and named it to my mother, she's been good not until she passed away because of personal matters. When she died, my father suddenly left this island and started of being miserable to the point that my tita from Italy brought me with her. Hindi na ako nakabalik dito hanggang sa nalaman kong nagpakasal na pala ang ama ko sa bagong babae, that's okay with me even I don't really know who's that girl. But, I am twenty four when I came back here to visit my new company." Ngumiti siya at tumikhim, ngumiti naman ako habang nakikinig lang sa kanya rito sa ibaba ng stage sa VIP area.

I never thought that his story was just like this, buong akala ko ay isa siya sa mga mayayaman na madaling makuha ang lahat ng gusto niya pero hindi, tao rin siya na may pakiramdam at naghihirap din; mentally.

"Now, everyone in this island was so confused like why do I came back? well, my mother told me to look for this island if I have that inspiration. Just like my dad, when I came here I found a girl five years ago." Biglang kumabog ng malakas ang puso ko dahil sa narinig, natigilan din ako at mapatigil kasabay ng pagparte ng aking mga labi.

"She's so flawless, a flawless gemstone either to be called. I first encounter her when she suddenly stopped in my car's window and fix herself and smile sweetly, hindi man lang niya inisip na baka may tao sa loob ng sasakyan at tuluyang mahulog sa kagandahan niya." He chuckled and all of the people squeal, sino ba naman ang hindi kikiligin habang sinasabi iyan!? kinagat ko ang ibabang labi at mahinang tumawa.

Now I remember how I used to make the window as a mirror in the street, wala kasi akong pera para bumili ng salamin kaya iyon na lang ang ginagawa ko.

I wipe my tears and smile at him, nakatingin din siya sa akin na may ngiti sa labi. Is this even for real? my husband . . . , how could he be that cruel of making me blush and assume that he's really into me.

"She's all my reason why I improve this island and why did I call this as my fantasy and my escape, dahil sa kanya ay bumalik ang sigla at kagandahan ng Deapoina. She's the reason and if all of my father think that this all a waste of time, well I would rather spend and waste all my life with her." Dahil sa sinabi niya ay tuluyang umingay ang karamihan ng tao, ang iba naman ay naiiyak sa hindi ko rin alam na dahilan kung dahil sa sinabi ni Lim o dahil may ibang babae itong gusto.
