"I think imma be celibate for a while." I sighed.
"Where this coming from?" Dessi asked and I shrugged.
"I'm dating now and i just don't think that should be something that i should be doing right now you know?" I said. We were eating ice cream while walking in the park.
"I actually think that's reasonable". She shrugged. "It's a good thing." She said.
"Wait a damn minute you mean dating as in dating someone or dating as in going on dates with different people?" She asked.
"Dating as in dating. Stay on topic." I said. "But i just want things to be different this time, a connection without having sex i don't know i just feel like that's what most of my relationships was built off of. I wanna be able to just enjoy their company then get to that point." I explained.
"Just gotta find someone that'll respect that decision." She said.
Keilan's celibate his self but that's a conversation for a different time because we're not together, just dating. I didn't wanna tell Dessi just yet that it's him because i don't wanna hear about how he used to be hoe and all that stuff.
"What about your love life?" I asked.
"I don't have one, remind me to never talk to the dudes in your family." She said and we laughed.
"I tried to tell you." I said.
"I know but kari be so convincing at times." She said.
"Speaking of Kari, I need to talk to him i ain't seen him in a while." I said.
"You haven't? Me either." She said. "He don't even post nothing no more." She said.
"Imma go see him when i'm not busy." I said.
"I would but he got a restraining order out on me i gotta lay low." She said.
"Dessi what the hell you do?" I asked.
"Nothing." She shrugged and I side eyed her.

"Serayah that's a great song and i know it'll do numbers you should release it or at least release a new EP." She said.
