When I left the studio I quickly went home to change so I can go to Siah's basketball game on time. I know we haven't really been on the best of terms but we both came to the conclusion that we just want our friendship back.
"GO, damn." I rolled my eyes because the car in front of me kept pressing on their breaks. I looked in the rear view mirror for a split second before realizing "my phone was ringing.
"Ma im on the way, im running behind but imma be there to pick up Keoni." I said.
"Okay just making sure you ain't forget me." Keoni said and I looked at the phone.
"Boy why you got mama phone where she at?" I laughed.
"Boy is a white racist word."
"Jayden got you watching them old tv shows." I chuckled.
"I'm spending the night at your house Rayah?" He asked.
"Yeah but mama picking you up in the morning cause you got a doctors appointment, tell her bring you outside i'm pulling up." I said and he hung up in my face.
...
I walked into the stadium holding Keoni's hand trying to avoid the crowd. Luckily, the game hadn't started yet.
"Hey Ms. Leslie, you look good." I smiled giving Siah's mom a hug once I made it to our floor seats. I was so happy to see her cause she actually looked like she was glowing cause previously, i know she's been in rehab trying to do better so she can help out with Jayden as well since Vanessa doesn't want to take care of him anymore.
"Hey love." She smiled hugging me back. "Omg I know this ain't Keoni be done got so big." She said and he looked down shyly.
"You don't remember do it?" She asked.
"No."
"This siah mama." I nudged him.
"Ohhhh, hey." He waved knowing damn well he still ain't remember and we sat down.
"You actually early." She said.
"I figured, I saw that line outside i'm glad i didn't have to be in it." I sighed.
"Where Jayden?" I asked.
"Girl Siah took him on that damn floor." She pointed and I looked seeing him playing with Jayden as he threw him the ball and Siah dunked making Jayden smile and push his glasses up then he turned this way and did a double take running over to me.
"YAYA." He smiled coming towards me to give me a hug making Siah looked over.
"Heyyyy." I smiled giving him a hug as Keoni mugged him. He swear Jayden be tryna steal me away from him.
"Okay that's enough, Jayden i got a new race car game on ipad." He said.
"I got a new word crossing game on mines, look." Jayden took his ipad out Leslie's purse and Keoni patted the seat next to him so Jayden can sit down.
