I closed my eyes and slowly got up to sit down properly.

"I saw earlier but it was so soon that I couldn't get a proper look of your faces. If you guys are looking for money, I can pay you as much as you want. My husband is rich."

A wave of laughter started around me, making the van shake a little more when it already was. After a few minutes the laughing faded slowly.

"We don't mind if you see our faces." Someone grasped my hand a little roughly and started to wrap something around my hands. "Just don't try anything funny."

I slowly opened my eyes to look. I realized I was so scared that I forgot to breathe. There were two men sitting on both sides of the car seats of that van. One of them had my backpack. He was digging through it carelessly. Two more men were sitting at the driver seat and shotgun seat.

After a few minutes of checking he tossed the bag towards me and looked at me calmly.

"Where is your phone?"

I licked my dry lips.

"The back pocket in my jeans."

"Give it to me."

I tried to reach my back pocket with my tied hands. After struggling a little I finally got a hold on my phone. I took it out and gave it to him. That man took my phone, opened the car window and casually tossed the phone outside. I gasped a little.

In that dreadful situation, where it wasn't sure I would be dead or alive I became super sad because that guy just threw out my latest Iphone 14 max pro out of the window. Straight on the road. I clicked my tongue. I just bought that phone just a few weeks ago.

I tried to look out of the window, but couldn't. Those windows were tinted. I peaked out the front window of the car.

The car was heading away from Romford and down to the east. The residential areas we were passing through slowly started to fade away. Then the car entered a deserted road with a deep wall of plants on both sides of the road. I could see vast crop fields behind those plants. Shortly after twenty minutes of driving, finally the driver pulled the car in front of a bungalow out of nowhere.

My scalp prickled as fear and adrenaline caused my whole body to tremble.

One of those men yanked the car door open and jumped out. He spitted on the ground and snarled at me, "Get out."

I gulped hard. As I climbed out, my legs were shaking so hard that I had to hold the car door for support. It was almost November, but I was sweating so hard that the blowing cold wind actually helped me to ease a little. Then walked towards the door, dragging me along. One of them knocked on the door and a few seconds later the door opened.

"Hurry up." one of those men pushed me inside. "We don't have the whole day."

The inside of that bungalow was in a very poor condition. I assumed that nobody lived there for a long time. The windows looked still impacted with the wall, but the frames were not in a good condition. There were three doors I could see and every single one of them wasn't full in one piece. The broken pieces of those broken doors were scattered on the floor. Wallpaper of those walls were ripped off and some of those walls actually have holes.

"Oh, we have our main guest here." I turned to see Rupert emerging from one of those doors. "I hope you didn't face any inconvenience on the way." Rupert sneered, coming to a halt in front of me. I can practically taste his contempt. "I told them to take some special care of you." He looked at those men who brought me here. Those men started to snicker like some rats.
