(Don't forget to hear the song 👆)

They all stared at me for a whole five seconds.

"You...what?" Mom asked to make sure they all heard right.

"I slipped and lost my balance." I scratched the corner of the bed sheet while stealing some glances at them.

"While walking on the top of the parakeet of a five stories building?" Mike asked in mockery and disbelief. I put down my plate on the bedside table.

"I was a little drunk, so I decided to take some fresh air and got out there."

"But what the hell were you doing on the top of that parakeet?" Mike asked angrily.

"Like I said," I sighed, "I was drunk, so...some wild idea came in my mind."

Dad stepped forward a little. "Are you sure, you slipped? Weren't there any single awful thought..."

"Dad," I cut him off, "I didn't jump off. Stop saying that!"

"We are not saying anything." Alan rubbed his hands with each other. "It's just... things aren't going well between you and Ron. Few Days ago you went missing and suddenly we heard you fell off the balcony."

"Oh my god!" I exclaimed with disbelief. "That's why you guys have been talking to me nicely. That's why you make ROn leave the room before this conversation. You guys thought I tried to kill myself?" I rubbed my forehead tiredly. "I am not that much of an idiot you guys think of me."

"We know! We know!" Alan quickly said. "We just want to make sure before we have to answer their questions."

"Who?" I asked.

"The police."

"Police?!" I pressed my nose bridge hard. My head started to pound loudly.

"Are you okay?" Stacy asked me concernedly.

"I think we should let her rest." Lucy looked at everyone in the room and everyone looked at each other and agreed.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

There was a light knock on the door. I was checking some random magazines because I was so bored. Phones weren't allowed there.

The door creaked open a little and a girl peeked her head inside. "Hi, are you busy?" she asked me with a smiley face.

"No, please come in." I smiled back at her and put that magazine aside.

That girl entered and closed the door behind her carefully. She was wearing a bottle green uniform. I felt like I had seen her somewhere before. But where?

"How are you?" she asked with a really concerned voice. "There isn't any bad damage or something like that, right?"

"Umm, no.I am completely fine." I answered her a little confused.

"Oh, thank god!" She sounded super relieved.

"Umm, sorry, but have we met before?" I smiled at her awkwardly.

"Oh sorry, how silly of me." That girl made an embarrassed face and walked closer to me. "I am Iana." And reached out her hand.

We both looked back and forth between her reached-out hand and my plaster casted right arm.
