Chapter 15

FEW MONTHS of courting Rayos, his feelings for her grow even more. It wasn't a simple puppy love as the oldies say, they will still find their greatest love. He doesn't want to find a new one and replace Rayos.

Leo already met her mother, and they also let him visit their house. Had a dinner together and treated him like a member of their family. Her family was warm and welcoming and the dangerous aura was perfectly hiding.

"Ayos ka lang ba?" Tanong sa kanya ni Rayos at mahinang tinapik ang binti niya.

As much as possible, ayaw niya na umupo malapit kay Rayos kapag nasa bahay sila nito. Gumala ang paningin ni Leo at nahuli niya ang tingin ng lalaking kapatid nito. Staring at him like he was skinning him alive.

"Rayos, don't stick too much to me." Suway niya sa dalaga. If they're in his home, siya mismo ang lalapit dito. His gaze was still stuck to her brother.

"Why? Am I making you uncomfortable now?" naiirita na tanong nito sa kanya.

Leo massaged his nape and checked the time.

"I'm home!"

Sabay sila na napalingon ni Rayos nang marinig ang boses ni Vyrlle. She's wearing a hoodie, at may nakasabit na headphone sa leeg nito.

"Ow, you're here," Vyrlle flatly said. "Anyways, I need some time to freshen up. You two will accompany me." Bossy na sabi nito.

"Kakauwi mo lang, Ion. Saan ka na naman pupunta?" Their brother asked, strictly.

"I'm going to study! I need a new environment, para naman ma-relax ang utak ko at may pumasok Kuya." Pagdadahilan nito sa kapatid.

Napailing na lang si Leo and at the same time, gusto niya itong pasalamatan. He also became close to Vyrlle. Palagi kasi itong kasama kapag may date silang dalawa ni Rayos. Although, he doesn't mind. Hindi naman kasi makakalabas si Rayos kung hindi dahil kay Vyrlle.

They've waited patiently for Vyrlle. At nang bumaba ito, may dala itong makapal na libro, looks like she's really going to study.

Lumapit sa kanya si Rayos. "Hindi ka na maiilang kapag nasa café niyo na tayo?" she asked.

"Behave, Cay," bulong niya rito.

Ngumuso lang ito sa kanya at lumapit sa kambal. They kissed their brother's cheek before leaving.

"Ikaw? Hindi ka hahalik?" panunukso sa kanya nito.

"Your fist will kiss me first, Kuya. No thanks." He dryly answered. Naiiling na tumawa ito sa kanya.

Leo doesn't understand their brother. He's sometimes sarcastic, sweet and he definitely loves teasing him.

"Ah, if only Light is brave enough like you." Jyrelle groaned loudly. Nag-isang linya ang mga kilay nito.

"Vyrlle's love interest? He's older than us. He'll be in jail, Kuya." Leo pointed out.

"I won't mind if he'll court my sister once she turns 18 though."

"There's a but?" Leo asked. Nasa labas na ang kambal but here he was, still entertaining their brother.

Tumango ito. "He chickened out. I've heard he's going to ask that girl hand in marriage. Marriage my ass!" He scoffed.

Jyrelle waved his hand to dismiss him. Leo shrugged and went outside. Rayos was looking at him, with her arms crossed.

"What took you so long?" naiinip na tanong nito.

Mabilis siyang lumapit dito at binuksan niya ang pintuan ng sasakyan at pinasakay na ito. His hand was on top of his head. Pagkatapos ay umikot siya para sumakay sa shotgun seat.
