Chapter 32

RAISING his fist on someone was something he'd never do if he was Leo in the past. The timid, the one who doesn't want the spotlight. Mas gugustuhin na lang na mag-isa sa sulok. But, he's completely different now. He has Rayos, his new found friends.

"Man, hold your horses?" Geo patted his shoulder. He glanced at him sideways and sighed.

Wala naman siyang binabalak na masama. He's just thinking. Of how luck stuck to him. Hindi na kasi siya nilubayan ng mga ito simula noong muntikan na niyang masuntok ang lalaki sa kabilang building. Hell, he couldn't even utter his name. It's disgusting.

"Bakit nga pala may benda 'yang kamay mo?" Lancell asked Geo.

Itinaas 'yon ni Geo at pinakita sa kanya. Leo raised his brow and scoffed.

Marco laughed shakily and answered Lancell, "Para makonsensya ang isang Leo Erese!"

Geo clicked his tongue and proudly smiled. Raising his fist in the air. "It was effective! Tingnan niyo, hindi na siya magbabalak na suntukin ang gago na 'yon kapag nakasalubong natin sa daan."

"Bakit mo kasi sinalo? Tanga ka?" Lancell asked again.

"Hey! You're not thinking, Lancell. Kapag nagkaroon ng record si Leo, hindi lang 'yan masu-suspend. That man could even use his connection to kick him out." Geo explained.

"So?" Lancell answered nonchalantly.

Umiling lang si Leo. Honestly, naisip na niya 'yon. If that guy uses his family connection, then… he'll use his family connections too. Sigurado na ang School nila ang maiipit and he, Leo Erese Davis intend to win.

"Geo, masyado kang takot sa gago na 'yon. Leo has his own connections too. He's close to Jyrelle Clemente. Man, have you heard about him? He's scary! Buti nga at tumahimik 'yon ngayon." Lancell commented.

Gustong matawa ni Leo. Paanong hindi tatahimik, tumino ang kapatid ni Rayos dahil sa magiging asawa nito.

Marco hummed. "Not to mention, Leo is close to the Martinez family too."

Geo sighed. "Yes, those surnames are powerful. But as much as possible, gawin nating tahimik ang nalalabing araw natin bilang college students? Nakakamatay na nga ang course natin."

Leo sighed and let them argued until they're all exhausted. Geo always tried to calm him, lalo na kapag nakakasalubong nila ang lalaki sa daan papunta sa cafeteria.

Especially that he's now spreading lies and he's not liking it. That Rayos was now dating him, kaya ganun na lang ang galit niya para rito.

"Kami na, Leo," sabi ni Lancell nang makita siyang tumayo.

"Man, I'm telling you! Muntik na akong mamatay sa saya noong marinig ko na hindi tinanggap ang application niya!" Geo happily said.

"Hindi natanggap? Bakit? Saan ba nag-apply?" Marco asked.
