Louis should've known that he wouldn't be able to get a single second of sleep after what happened, but he tried anyway. As soon as he closed his eyes though, images of two hours ago were flashing through his mind and he ripped his eyes open in shock and shot up into a sitting position panting. His head was hurting and his eyes were burning from crying until there were no tears left- or so he thought.

He dropped his face in his hands as a strangled noise slipped past his lips and his eyes welled up once more. He was so desperate that he didn't know what to do, all he wanted was to make it stop. There was only one person who could help him- or at least who could listen to him and maybe even kill him when he was lucky enough so he could be freed from this anguish.

He snatched his phone from the nightstand and dialed Liam's number, hoping he would pick up but judging by the time he was probably sleeping.

"Hello?" Liam's sleepy voice rang through the speaker when Louis was just about to give up.

"Li? I-" A tear slipped down his cheek and he choked down a sob. "-I need you...I don't know what to do!"

Liam shot up from where he was laying in his bed and furrowed his eyebrows at Louis' desperate voice.

"Woah, woah. What happened? Where are you?" He asked cocerned.

"At home, I...oh god, Liam I fucked up so badly! I don't-" Louis' voice cracked and he clutched onto his phone as if his life depended on it.

"Lou, calm down, I can't understand you. What happened?" Liam asked alarmed.

"I...I did something..." Louis choked out.

"Okay, I'm sure we can fix this. Can you get out of the house?" Liam asked calmly not to work him up even more.

"I'm not sure. I...I think so." Louis mumbled rubbing his eyes but it was to no use.

"Alright, good. Come over to mine, my parents are away, you can sleep over."

Louis mumbled an 'okay' and they hung up. He got up and threw a hoodie and some sweats on before he slipped out of his room quietly not to wake up anyone. He tip toed to the stairs an when he was halfway down he rushed towards the entrance area and slid on his shoes quickly. He didn't bother to take a jacket although the ground was coated in snow and it was freezing cold, but he couldn't care less right now.

Dazed by his hurting head and his blurred sight he stumbled along the sidewalk down the street that was lit up by the reflection of the light of the moon in the snow, trying not to break down once more and soon he started to feel the cold. His body began to shake and his fingers went numb as well as his face and he got slower in his steps. It took him almost twenty minutes and when he arrived at Liam's house he was shivering like crazy trying to keep himself warm by hugging his body.

As soon as the door opened after he knocked Louis threw himself in Liam's arms and cried.

"It's okay. It's gonna be fine." Liam mumbled shocked seeing Louis like this. "Come in, you must be freezing." He pulled him inside and closed the door behind him.

Louis slowly calmed down while Liam prepared two cups of tea for them and when they were in his room and sat on the bed he has fully stopped crying but just stared ahead at no particular point.

"Do you want to tell me what you did?" Liam asked softly not to startle him but Louis flinched anyway before he slowly turned his head to him looking at him with empty eyes.

"I..." He choked out, but paused. How should he possibly tell him what he did? "Harry came to my room and asked me one of those questions and...I don't know how, but at some point he...he kind of told me he is imagining me when...oh god-" He buried his face in his hands and shook his head in despair. "-and then he...fuck, he asked me to help him and I didn't want to, I swear! But I couldn't think..."
