I've been so busy lately with renovating and I still am, but somehow I managed to finish this chapter. I'm honest, I had zero motivation because I'm exhausted all the time and literally can't concentrate, but I will be back soon, I promise!! For now you have to be happy with this chapter and unfortunately I can't possibly tell you when you get the next one.
I hope you're all doing okay and I talk to you soon. Love you, lads ❤️

Louis couldn't fall asleep after their kiss, but it was the first time in months it wasn't because of something that was bothering him in a negative way. He was just laying there staring at the ceiling contemplating if it was the right thing to do or if it would backfire at some point. But it was done anyway and he wasn't regretting it. There was a lot him and Harry had to talk about, he had a lot to explain to him and be patient with him, but he was willed to give into his feelings if Harry wanted that as well.

He sucked in a sharp breath bringing back the moment of their kiss and he could still feel Harry's lips on his own, a prickling covered them and he ran the tip of his tongue over it to make it stop but it was to no use when it didn't go away. He was thrown back in time remembering his first kiss which was nothing compared to how crazy the butterflies in his stomach were still going and he wondered if Harry was feeling the same right now. Was he awake as well? Was he sleeping and maybe even dreaming of him?

He reached over to his phone and looked at the clock which read 2:36. He was sure he was fast asleep and it itched in his fingers to go over to his room and watch him, but he resisted. Instead he turned around and closed his eyes trying to get some sleep as well, but no matter how often he told himself in his mind not to think of anything he just couldn't forget about him.

A sudden light brightened up the room and Louis squeezed his eyes shut when he was right looking at it. He reached over to his nightstand where his phone was laying and dared to open one eye peeking at the bright display. Before he could read the message he had received he lowered the brightness and almost dropped his phone when he saw who the text was from.

Not even a second after he hit send his door opened and Harry hurried inside. Louis chuckled and scooted back lifting his duvet just as Harry slipped underneath next to him turning on his side to be able to look at him.

"Hi." Louis whispered grinning.

"Hi." Harry smiled bashfully.

"Why are you confused? I thought we said we talk about it tomorrow?" Louis said softly and reached his hand up brushing a curl out of Harry's face whose cheeks turned a deep red, Louis could even see it in the darkness and his smile widened.

"Dunno. I'm scared." Harry mumbled and dropped his head.

"Hey." Louis didn't accept that and lifted it again by pushing his chin up with his finger. "I know why you're scared, but things are gonna change now and I'm not gonna keep my distance anymore if you don't want that."
