L'Angela Reborn. Vic's office...

Vic didn't know how exactly he got caught in this little tangle.

One minute, he's at his desk going over "off-the-record" paperwork. Next minute, Anet's walking in asking his opinion on the dress Lor wanted her to wear for opening night.

Somewhere between her showing off every accentuating line, flirtatious remarks, and hungry eyes, they'd found themselves twined in each other's arms, necking passionately —lustfully —ferociously.

Her lips traveled along his jaw, finding that surprisingly sensitive spot under his ear.

"Anet," His hands searched for the dress's fastenings. Tempted to give the gown a slit if he couldn't find it.

Knock, knock, knock!

"Hey, Princess!" Lor walked in.

Her exaggerated sigh. Not removing herself from her position, Anet gave Vic's cousin a look that could kill.

"Oh. I shoulda known this is what you meant when you said you wanted the boss's opinion on the gown. I'm guessing it's perfect. Just don't shred it, you two." he closed the door behind him.

Vic carefully peeled Anet off of him. "You should probably get back to rehearsal."

She didn't hide her disappointment. "Yes, Mr. Selini." she walked out.

Vic heaved a deep breath. Groaned. He could feel that hangman's noose tightening.

R-R-RING! R-R-RING!

"Vic, here. "

The conversation was brief, leaving Vic the bearer of bad news.

Downstairs Anet's face lit up as he entered
the room. She was shining bright after their little moment, he hated to be the same one to shatter that joy.

She wrapped up the song as he reached the stage.

Her smile faded. "What's wrong, Vic?"

He didn't know how to say it, he wouldn't say it here. She followed him to her dressing room.

"You're scaring me, Vic, what wrong?"

"Anet... Harvey —your father... He's... passed on."

Anet cried more than she had expected. She knew it was coming. She knew from the moment she'd met him that this moment would come and that there was nothing she could do to change it. Even if she could have stopped her Great-Great Grandfather's death, Harvey wouldn't have let her.

Somewhere in time...

Ross Peters spent—well, it was hard to tell
how much time he'd spent traveling through time.

Will's Time Machine had worked! The problem, Ross would soon discover after spending half a day in the year 1870, was that that tingling feeling crawling through his body that he felt going through the portal, was not Will pulling him back through time.

No. That tingling, electrical feeling came over him as his body was suddenly ripped through time and space!

He didn't find himself back in Will's basement.

He'd entered 1977. After about less than half a day, he was ripped from there to 1790. After 2 days in 1790 he was ripped through time again and again and again and again.
