Jay stands at the window from his office in Maggio Tower.

His office.

This life! He could not have imagined it working out any better! Lorenzo Torelli's potential was seriously underrated.

"I don't think even he knew what he was capable of!" He says to the city below. "—if I hadn't given him the push in the right direction."

In addition! He didn't think it would work out this well with the Peters family!

"God! I wish I could've seen how it all had played out after I left!"

He remembers, though, the way Anet was back on that rooftop before he reactivated his Anchor...  How is this all going to turn on its head? And how do I prevent it?

Here, he and Anet are passionately mad about each other! There is no detective work and undercover jobs to take their time from each other. They have this heat and hunger, one for the other, in these neo-memories. Had they done it? No—so far as he knows. But in these new memories... she's finding it harder and harder to hold out. He chuckles. But once he had proposed, she found renewed resolve.

"Her and her old-fashioned values." he smiles. It's what makes their relationship so interesting—originally and now.

His smile fades.

Somehow she's going to end up hurt. She's going to put pieces together from her old memories, and she's never going to believe that I did all this for her!

Jay ponders that first new memory—"neo-memories" they've been calling them—yesterday at Doc's. "If she ever finds out... she'll hate this life. But if I don't tell her... No. That can't be it."

Knock, knock.

His secretary enters. "Mr. Maggio, your mother wants to know what time you'll be home for the dinner party tonight?"

"Tell her not to worry. Anet and I will get there when we get there."

Mama P.:
Anet seems to be upset about
something. Please go see her. Talk
to her. I'm worried she might try to
run again .

Me :
Yes, ma'am. I'll go see her now

Jay❤️:
Hey Babe! I miss your
face, I'm coming over.

Me:
K.

Great. There goes my chance at seeing Grandpa Lucas.

"Remain calm." she tells herself. Act normal, as if your whole world wasn't one big, freaking mystery imploding in on itself every hour!

Jay enters the Peters' Penthouse, to find Anet sitting comfortably on the sofa watching one of her Cagney films.

"Haven't seen this one in awhile," he sits beside her.

"With all these neo-memories, it's nice to find I have one mainstay."

"How are you handling your new memories?"

"...It's nice seeing we got to spend more time together as a couple in this timeline." she gives him a playful smile. "You?"

"Yeah, I can't believe how close our families are."

"I had no idea our families ever were connected. In '28 I did discover that the Maggios were buying my Great-Great
Grandfather's moonshine. I wonder what happened to keep the family friendship
lasting this long." Anet stares blank at the screen. Sigh. "I didn't use an alias, Jay. They all most likely assumed I was Harvey Peters' daughter. Vic probably reached out to Harvey after I'd gone —who knows."
