"Bro! I never seen a dude pick up as many chicks as you! They literally flock to you."
Thomas smirked, "What can I say? When you got it you got it. But you're a good lookin' kid, these girls were eying you just as much as me. Are you being good cuz ya think I'monna snitch?" Thomas laughed.
"Nah." Jay threw back a shot. "I've only got eyes for Anet."
"That's real sweet. What a saint you are."
Chuckle. Swig."It's not easy loving your cousin. Trust me. She's... old fashioned."
Tommy chuckled. He knew what that meant. "No wonder you're so tense all the time! How far off is the wedding?"
"Five. Long. Months."
Whistle. "And how long have you been a thing?"
"Since college!" Jay laughed. Swore.
"You're kidding! You mean to tell me you haven't had sex for —how old are you?"
"24."
Thomas chuckles his disbelief. "Wow."
"Things weren't always serious between us. I've had my pickups. We broke up for awhile. It wasn't 'til about '08 that I knew she was the one I wanted to be with."
"Psssh. Three years is still a long time! But props to you, bro!"
"Thanks, bro!"
"But who says you can't brush up your foreplay for the big night!" Thomas signaled for another round whilst expertly retrieving the attention of a couple blondes down the bar. He passed the two drinks to Jay. "I believe there's a private booth waiting for you." Wink.
"I dunno, man—,"
"Release a bit of that tension, just don't do anything that makes you feel too unfaithful!" chuckle. "If things go too far—I know nothing!"
The two blondes approached.
"Hey there."
Thomas flashed a smile. "My buddy and I would like to buy you lovely ladies your next round."
He allowed Jay a brief moment to take his pick.
Jay had no problem reeling one in. A few drinks in and he was leading her from the bar.
"No private booth for us?"
"Sorry, baby. No booth for us." Tommy pouted his lip. "But feel free to join them, it's his first hoorah in 3 years." He handed her the bottle and a full glass. Winked. And sent her on her way.
Pleased with his work, Tommy sipped his hooch. Setting his eyes on the television above.
He didn't buy a word about this kid being so celibate.
Not with what they were putting out on those little home screens these days.
Tommy turned to the bartender, "When my buddy comes back, tell him Matt says 'You're welcome, and I'll see him tonight'."
"You got it."

Anet was feeling pretty good about her status in this timeline. Putting on parties in the pub built into her distillery, all for her dear friends —the Heller twins.
"I can't get over how weird that is, that Chase Heller's kids are in my circle of friends."
"Yeah." Jay agreed. "Remember when you were undercover as his sexy, little secretary?"
