Claudia Sorento stepped out of her white sedan. And into her father's butcher shop.

"'Morning, Miss Claudia."

She breezed through the lobby to the back room.

Skinned cattle and pig hang in rows.

Her guest sat between two brawny hoods. He spoke in a sardonic tone, "I really enjoy the theatrics you Marchettis put on!"

"You prefer not to be seen. This is how I accommodate." to the brawn, "You two, wait outside." Alone, "So?"

"I think our window of opportunity has finally opened." He held up a manila. "This should be the key to send Selini over the edge."

She opened the folder. Pulled out several photos. "That's the Jane who works at the Daisy-Chain."

"Anette Peters. She likes to go by Anet."

"Peters? As in Harvey Peters?"

"She's his daughter. I had no idea, 'til I saw her at the funeral."

"So she's important to Selini?"

"She's his lover. I used to think she didn't want to be on his leash, but then she reappears out of nowhere and is back in his pocket. I've followed her enough to see she's still playing Selini's moll. And he's still obsessed with that tramp."

"Oo. That came out a little sharp even for you. Did she break your heart too?"

"I almost died because of that dame. Perhaps it's my bitterness talking, but I've made sense of the idea that that was probably the idea! I don't doubt Selini fed her stories about me."

"Why are all the men Grazi goes for so vain?" she flipped through the photos. "What makes you so sure these photos will be enough?"

"Trust me. I know you Marchetti's prefer your gruesome methods, but I know Selini. I've seen him over the edge. Seen that little beast inside unleash. The contents of that envelope will be enough."

"You'd better be right."

"Once he's done in, you'll tell me where Graziella is?"

She set the envelope in his lap. Smiling over her secrets. "Of course. Once Selini is out of the way, Graziella will be able to come back. I don't doubt she will be glad to see a familiar friendly face. Who knows, maybe seeing you will remind her of the love she once had for you, Mr. Burke." she smiled. Amused at the reaction he attempted to hide from her.

"It's not about Graziella and me. It's about Victor Selini getting what he deserves."

"Of course."

Sunday, July 3, 1933 ...

Tomorrow was the grand re-opening of Vic's beloved Angel Club...

Following July 4th... Vic would meet with Patrick to discuss Patrick taking the reins on Harvey's bootlegging business.

Patrick, Anet knew, will have no intention of taking over... that decision originally got him killed—by Vic's hand. Somewhere in time, after her first trip, that encounter changed... Lorenzo stuck his neck out for Patrick, changing the outcome of the game. And Vic... instead of leading the family through to the 1970's as he originally had... will take his own life before August of this year.

She had reached the ultimatum of her mission...

She could keep Vic from meeting with Patrick, and let Lorenzo play his game; saving Great Grandpa Patrick. If she stays with Vic she would keep him alive and take over Harvey's business and thwart all of Torelli's plans...
