Abbie's POV
"Should I bring or leave your gift here?" Dad asks me.
"I wasn't expecting a gift. You coming to the party would have been enough." I answer him honestly.
"Did you want me-"
"Yes bring it. I'll open and love whatever it is. Come on. I got my diploma framed and ready to show off." I giggle a little.
"How does it work?"
"Just place any you want to bring in my backpack. Cell phones and keys I leave under the car with sand on top of it." As I place the frame and little gift bag in my backpack.
"Um I mean transportation there?"
"Oh I can't reveal that. Let just say you don't get wet if that is what you are thinking. Come on." We walk to the water with formal clothes on.
I slowly reach to hand Charlie's hand. Creating a barrier around us as we slowly enter the water. Once we are under the water I see the teleporting symbol.
Charlie looks in awe at seeing the water in a different view. I move my hand a little to tell him we are teleporting to The Mothers hall.
"She's here!!" I hear Evan scream as I open my eyes.
"Woah. That was awesome. Did you see the fish and seaweed?" Dad looks at me.
I laugh a little. "Yes I did. Dad we are in The Mothers hall. Some of the others are here to celebrate and want to meet you."
"Meet me?" He asks again.
"Yes sir. You are the protector of The Mothers servant since she was decided and chosen. We are curious and admire your dedication." Matthew says.
"Well go and have fun. We are safe and you can be yourself. I'm going to talk to The Mother and the others. See you when hungry." I tell Charlie walking to Mothers room and saying hello to everyone and thanking them for coming.
Throughout the evening we talked, danced, laughed and ate together wishing me a happy birthday and to more years to come full of adventures.
"Ms Abbie, you are passed curfew." Matthew whisper.
"What? I thought no curfew. What time is it?" I search for a clock.
"20 minutes until 2 am. You should be asleep." Matthew answers hugging me.
"Come on, let's go to Charlie." He leads the way.
"Dad, it's late. You have work in the morning." I hug his waist.
"We're late? Hahaha!" He starts to laugh.
"Thank you everyone! I will stop by tomorrow afternoon for gifts. Not to worry." I thank everyone and hug Evan and Matthew before heading to the teleportation symbol to the ocean.
"Can you drive home Bee? Or we can sleep in the car?" Dad mutters.
"I'll drive. Can I sleep on your bed? I'll make you breakfast for it?" I grab my keys and phone.
"Yes, sleep on my bed. Coffee and cinnamon rolls for breakfast?"
"Sure." I park in front of the house before helping dad up.
Bella's POV
Charlie and that bitch haven't been home all day. I have tried everything tool to get in the bitch's room to steal some cash but nothing works.
I asked Edward to stay with me as it's past midnight and they are still not back.
"Bella? Bella they're back." Edward says.
"Who?"
"Your dad and sister."
"Oh" I reply. I see Edward walk down the stairs.
"Hello. I stayed with Bella to keep her safe as you both were away." He says.
"Oh thank you but Bells you could have call me or Bee. We didn't really think of the time." Charlie says.
"We're heading to bed now. Thank you Edward and make sure to close the door when out." The bitch says to my man.
Edward's POV
Her scent. Like sea salt and sweet flowers. I have to tell my family.
"Will do. Goodnight. I will pick you up tomorrow Bella." I say and leave rushing home to tell the others.
"Her scent!" I scream as I enter home.
"Edward no yelling." Esme says.
"I'm sorry aunty. But Abbie has a scent. Sea salt and sweet flowers." I say again.
"You smelled it too?" Alice chimes.
"You knew her scent?" I question.
"Yes when I hugged her. She smells nice." She answers wondering away.
"Alice can you see her future like that?!" I yell for her to hear.
"Ow. No yelling. Um" she walks closer to me. When she's hit with a vision. I see Abbie crying as Carlisle tries to comfort her.
"Maybe Abbie is Carlisle mate? But why would she hide her scent?" Alice says. Carlisle just so happened walk down the stairs.
"You have to meet with her. We know nothing about her." I say.
"I understand. But I will not force her to speak of something she would like a secret, Edward please understand that?" Carlisle looks towards the swans house.
"When will I go Alice?" He questions her vision.
"I don't know. It was unclear."
"Then we shall wait for the opportunity." He says returning back to his office.
