Abbie's POV
Coming to the museum wasn't easy as Evan and Matthew would worry about the harm I can face. My bruises aren't painful to move in and my mind is swimming in a pool of emotions.
But I promised to call if anything was wrong and left with a cute outfit of fleece lined black jeans, black long sleeve body suit, a long jacket and boots with my camera for pictures of the artist.
"Oh what a lovely bird." I talk to birds now. Haha.
"You at the museum or watching over me?" I ask the bird while sitting on a bench to sip on hot chocolate.
"Come on bring your friend. I go in soon to see the arts." The bird cirps for a clue.
Suddenly the smell of pine plays in the wind, I look up to Carlisle hiding behind the trees away from my view. I use echo for my voice to travel to his ear from far away.
"You don't have to hide. You can come say hi." I say leading me to walk out from his hiding.
"You are always hidden in the background of paintings, making the whole picture lack of something. Don't hide you are the main picture." I said.
"Would you like to join me?" I mention to the museum.
"I don't want to distract you from the paintings." Carlisle jokes.
"Don't trip on the artifacts. So much staring, want a picture?" I reach for the camera.
"Haha I can't lie, you are so beautiful. It's hard not to look." He said.
"Come on. A date at the museum is a good way to spend time together, I like it." I throw my empty hot chocolate cup.
"I should have asked." Carlisle catches up.
"I'm asking you though. Would you like to go on a date with me to the museum?" I stop in front of him.
"Yes. I would never refuse you." He answers.
"Good. Now Claude Monet, Johannes Vermeer, Georg Eduard Otto Saal and John William Waterhouse await us inside." I stand beside him to wrap my hand around his arm.
"Just to take photos?"
"Yes Carlisle. I thought you would get it from the camera. Though I'm starting to question if it's really you."
"I'm sorry about Bella yesterday. Thank you keeping Alice and Edward safe. I'm sorry about not coming sooner." He says moving closer to me.
"You're welcome and thank you too. Now pictures, don't worry about your ticket."
"I'll pay for it."
"No. I asked you. I pay." I place my card over the reader. "I win. You can buy me lunch?" I suggest.
"Lunch, it is." He answers as we continue to walk around the museum.
The museum stored beautiful and timeless pieces. Carlisle stood beside me the whole time. His presents is comforting just as a man not a mate.
He even took over my camera to capture the paintings and elements around me.
Carlisle's POV
She's so beautiful. A kind smile and bright eyes. Soft and comforting with every moment she makes. My beautiful mate. My mate.
"Who's your favorite artist?" I ask.
"Johannes Vermeer." She walks around to the room to finish the last of the tour.
"Beautiful work. How have you been?"
"I thought the bond shared emotions but honestly stressed and scared of finding more mates. Mother says to think highly of myself when speaking to mates. Though I want real emotions not something set by destiny." She responds.
"My mate. I see you for you. Don't overthink that little head of yours." I hug her and she hugs me back.
"Your hugs are good. Thank you. So now a quick lunch to-go because I'm sleepy." She tells me.
"Have anything in mind?"
"Tomato soup with a grill cheese and a side of French fries to-go please." She responses.
"Any desserts?"
"No thank you." She yawns.
"Well let's get you home." I say as she grabs the takeout bag.
"Thank you. Hmm so salty good." She eats a French fry.
"I'm sorry about the kings. They are my soul brother but now shared mates."
"You're not to apologize for them. Maybe I'll meet them again. Not so soon though." She says for someone to hand her an envelope.
Abbie's POV
My date with Carlisle is coming to an end. With a late lunch passing 2 pm and nap time coming at 3:30 pm. A soldier from James mafia comes to hand me an envelope with information to the end of the year photo shoot.
"Thank you soldier." I say.
"Who was that?" Carlisle says.
"End of the year events for demigods and demigoddess. Like every year." I said as we continue to walk to Matthew's home.
"Would you like to come in?" I question.
"No thank you. I have to return to my soul brothers." He says.
"Haha tell them I said hi and only send Jane to watch me sleep. She doesn't make so much noise. Goodnight." I turn to the door and watch him leave chuckling.
The rest of the day I spend sleeping on the couch until Matthew got home around 6 pm. Woke up to him dropping a pot for soup. Running to throw down who I thought broke in.
"Great way to wake up, you know!!" I scream hold a knife.
"What are you trying to do?" Placing the knife back.
"Sorry I was gonna make pizzas to create our own. It slipped." Matthew groans.
"Well I'm awake now. What toppings you got?"
After pizzas Matthew and me talked about tomorrow and what outfits to wear as Kyle the designer would judge us off them. Kyle, servant to fashion and drama, also a gay which he says helps him in fashion.
Setting out my outfit of my goddess bodysuit, black cargo pants, black long sleeve and black vans.
