Abbie's POV

The three kings lead the way. Then follows Evan, me, Matthew and lastly Carlisle. I sense eyes watching us, looking up to the walls and the tall ceilings with dimly lit posts.

"May I ask what's on the menu?" Evan says curiously to the kings.

"Red meats, poultry, Italian, American, a bit of everything as we don't have need to eat." Marcus answers.

"Sounds delicious just no kiwis or ginger around. Abbie's allergic to kiwis and I'm allergic to ginger. Matthew got no allergies though look at him. He can eat anything." Evan says as we enter the throne now changed to a dining hall.

Everyone moves to a sit with no chairs at the ends of the table, making everyone face each other. Evan and Matthew leave an empty chair for me in the middle.

"Well then we can take away the fruit platter to be displayed again by our chefs." Aro snaps his fingers to one of the servers.

"How was your day?" Marcus asks gently.

"It was very busy. We, demigods, had a photoshoot for our duties and egos. Matthew drank and I saw the soldiers almost end the lines." Evan says.

I laugh little, reaching for water. "I spent my time on a runway of getting fittings and put on display."

I see many delicious dishes placed on the table. Placing the cup of water down to reach for food instead. A bowl with noodles with steak in sauce catches my eye.

I look around to see Matthew and Evan plating their plate with what their hearts desire. I grab the small bowl of noodles and steak then another bowl with steamed vegetables.

"Everything looks and smells delicious." I say taking food from the plates.

"Wonderful. We had the head chef prepare." Aro said.

"Carlisle why aren't you eating?" I ask while the kings drink wine laced with human blood.

"My brothers aren't fond of the diet. Though do not worry, I'll hunt after." He answers, hearing Matthew and Evan turn to see me.

"Well it is their home. I ought to respect their rules. Consider it an invitation to a late night walk with me, Carlisle?" I ask him out again.

"I'll take it and be back before midnight." He says looking at Matthew nodding at his statement. "Excuse me then." Carlisle walks to leave the room leaving us with the kings.

"We certainly must be doing wrong. Though food is the way to a woman's heart." Aro says.

"I tell you what I said to Carlisle when he first found out about being mates. I don't like men. Trauma from my childhood made it difficult to make relationships with men. I don't have extreme goals and I like to live a comfortable life and be comfortable. Though I understand how relationships work. Find common grounds, interests, hobbies and maybe a few fights or surprises. If I find reason within your claims, I'll support you.  But do not court me just because of the mate bond or gifts I have. Court me on my personality and actions to those around you. I am the demigoddess of The Mother. I know who you are already." I finish to my stomach growling and then stuffing my face with all the plates.

An hour past and Evan was the first to speak.

"On my god. I ate so much. I could go to sleep right now. Abbie cut your dinner short for the bed please." As he starts to hug me.

"Good thing you said that I just finish dessert. Thank you for dinner. I'll come back tomorrow for the tour around the castle. Maybe then you'll have courage to speak to me." I thank the kings. Placing Evan over my shoulder, military style.

"Glad you enjoyed, my deer. We'll be waiting. Until tomorrow. Goodnight." Marcus says.

Exiting the castle, I see Carlisle waiting the shadows and Matthew takes a sleeping Evan into bride style as we walk to his home.

"You hide again." I say.

"I was waiting for you." He rubs my head. "Does your head still hurt?"

"No. My stomach is full and I'm warm. I have a few bottles, though I want to walk to the beach and watch the waves." I say holding to his forearm.

"Bring her back. If she falls asleep, don't grab exposed skin." Matthew says loudly to Carlisle as we reach his house.

"I'll be back" I run up stair to grab the bottles filled with blood from my suitcase.

"Let's go. There's 4 bottles: 2 deer, 1 lion and 1 bear. Hope it's enough. Oh and I brought a blanket." I grab Carlisle forearm and begin walking to the shore.
