Alec was reading on the couch when Magnus came up to him and had a box in his hand. He sat down on the couch and Alec raised his eyes brows and put his book down. "What's this?" He asked his boyfriend. "Oh nothing, just thought I would get you a little something something" he smirked and handed him the box. Alec held it in his lap and looked at him. "Okay..." He slowly opened the box and saw a black shirt. He smiled and held it out. "Awe Mags! That's sweet of you, thank you" he leaned over and kissed his cheek. Magnus smiled. "Well try it on! I wanna see how it looks on you!" Alec took his shirt off and put the new one on and stopped when it was only half way on him "what the hel-" he took it off and there was glitter all over his torso. Alec groaned and tried to brush it off but it wouldn't come off. He stood up and danced around to try and get the glitter off but it stayed on him. "Magnus! What did you do!" He whined and Magnus just laughed. "It's a prank darling! You can't get the glitter off unless I say so! But you do look pretty sexy like that.." He trailed off and Alec stomped his foot. "Please take it off!" Magnus just shook his head and laughed.

Magnus wouldn't let the glitter come off for a few days and since then, Alec had been planning revenge. And Alec had figured out how he would do it. Alec wasn't too big on pranks so he wasn't planning on something big. But he knew just what to do

Magnus had forgotten about the whole glitter shirt incident so Alec wasn't worried about Magnus being suspicious. Alec peaked around the corner and saw him sitting at his desk and working; he held the small box in his hand and giggled quietly. He walked in and had the box behind his back. Magnus looked up and smiled. "Hey sweetheart" Magnus said and Alec smiled. "Hi love" he blew him a kiss. "I got you something" he handed him the box. Magnus's eyes lit up. "For me? Oh you're too sweet." He opened the box and picked up the object. "What's this..."Alec burst out laughing. "It's a BELLYBUTTON RING!" He yelled and laughed. Magnus groaned and slammed it down on the table. "Really? really?" He asked. Alec nodded and laughed so hard he was on the floor. Magnus sat next to him and he smiled. "Alright. I guess that's your way of "payback" for the shirt right?" Alec nodded and leaned over and kissed him. "I love you, you big goff ball" he said and Magnus laughed. "I love you too" Magnus and Alec stayed on the floor for a while in each other's arms.
