Magnus panicked, knowing very well Alec had a high risk of dying. He crouched down next to him and looked at his wounds. Most were cuts and bruises, but the biggest one was on his chest; a big hole that most likely came from a sword of some sort. Magnus reached over and held Alec's head up and he groaned in agony. Magnus picked the bleeding shadowhunter and rushed him to the tent. Catarina was helping the others and they helped each other back to the tent. Magnus carefully set Alec down on the bed and he whimpered. He quickly grabbed some gauze and tried to stop the bleeding, a lot of blood was already lost and if he lost more he could die from blood loss. After Catarina was done with the others, she came over to help Magnus with Alec. She held the gauze on his chest tightly as Magnus started to strip him of his gear. Alec kept screaming and begging them to stop. Catarina cut his shirt off him which showed them both the hole in his chest more clearly. "My god what FANTASTIC ABS" Magnus thought to himself and looked down at him. He smiled then quickly got back to work. Alec had his eyes open the whole time but couldn't comprehend who was there and what they were doing. All he felt was agonizing pain in his chest. Catarina checked his heart rate as Magnus cleaned the wound out so no infection could get inside. Alec suddenly went limp and shut his eyes. His heart rate slowed down to the point it almost stopped. Catarina panicked and started to give CPR the best she could before Magnus gave him mouth the mouth. That is not how Magnus imagined their first "kiss" after seeing each other for so long. Magnus pushed those thoughts away and focused on Alec. The CPR wasn't working, so Magnus rubbed his hands together to create some electricity to jump start his heart again. Catarina stood back and kept checking his pulse. Magnus pushed down on his chest once. Twice. Three times. Catarina felt his pulse slow down at an alarming rate. She looked at Magnus worried "we're losing him fast, we need to try something else" she said. Magnus looked at her worried as kept trying to give him CPR. Catarina looked at him "Magnus...you know the only reason we would ever do this is if we have no other opt-" "I know" Magnus stopped her and sighed. "Just..get it..be quick okay?" He said. She left and came back with a vile of a potion. She looked at Alec sadly. The potion worked in two ways. It would either kill Alec instantly and painfully, or it would bring him back. It wasn't their decision what it did. The potion decided who was worthy and who wasn't. Catarina slipped the potion down his throat gently and close his mouth for him. Alec opened his eyes and his head jerked back and he let out scream. Blood came out of nose and mouth and he went limp on the bed. Magnus let out a cry and started to shake, his shadowhunter gone. Catarina shut her eyes and tried not to cry. Magnus cradled the body in his arms. Then he heard breathing. Raspy and quiet breathing. He looked down and saw Alec breathing. He gasped and Alec opened his eyes again "m-Magnus?" He whispered. Magnus smiled and shushed him "don't talk. Just relax okay?" He started to clean the blood up and finish stitching up his wounds and such. Alec laid in the bed quiet and would wince in pain. Magnus say next to him and explained everything that happened. Soon the general came in and stood by Alec. Alec tried to sit up but didn't have the strength. The general cracked a smile. "Good job solider. You can go home to heal..well..everyone can. The rebel leader died in combat and the rest of his cult was sent to prison. Wars over" outside crowds could be heard cheering. Alec smiled up at Magnus and kissed him gently. "We can go home" he whispered with a smile

The months went by and Alec got better. The cult wasn't heard from again and things were finally back to normal. The couple was happy again. Alec cuddled up to Magnus happily "I love you" he whispered. Magnus smiled and kissed him back "I love you too, my little solider with the bow and arrows"

I AM SO SO SO SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING FOREVER AND EVER. My life was just crazy and I was trying to adjust most of it and get back to normal. Also thanks for sticking with me for that awful cliffhanger. But guess what! I'm probably gonna make another chaptered malec fanfiction like my other one! I'll still (try) and post one shots here but I'll see what happens. I love you guys!
