Chapter 10

Kara's POV

"Did she really sleep on her like that all night?" I hear Eliza ask someone in the room. "Lena, you must be a great body pillow."

That's when I hear Lena's voice, "She didn't move all night, she slept like a baby." Lena laughs. I didn't just hear her voice but I felt it within my whole body because my head is laying on her chest and I felt it move when she laughed. I realize my leg is across Lena and so is my arm. I can feel her arms wrapped around me as well.

There's no way I can wake up right now, especially with everyone in this room.

"Why don't you guys go downstairs? I'll wake her up in a few." Lena says arranging the blanket that's over us.

"Alright, I'll make breakfast." I hear Eliza say followed by two pairs of footsteps walking out of the room.

I hear Lena sigh and she starts brushing my hair out of my face.

Don't smile, don't smile, don't smile.

Her fingers trace my skin and she kisses my head. I feel her grip around my body tighten as if she wants to make this last while she can. Or at least that's what I hope that's why.

"Wake up sleepy girl." She says. Her morning voice has a slight rasp to it, I love it.

I fake stir and snuggle closer to her. Lena laughs, "Honey, your mom is making breakfast downstairs." With that, I accidentally use my super speed from how excited I am and am downstairs within seconds. I use my super speed again to go back upstairs and Lena is in the same position I left her in. I pick her up and she's koala wrapped around my front as I hold her up. "Hold on tight, Lee." I say as I use my super speed and we're now downstairs.

"You can open your eyes now." Alex says patting Lena. Lena untucks her face from my neck and I smirk at her. She goes to get down but as I helped her down my hands are on her ass. Have they been there the entire time? I blush and avert my eyes to Eliza and Maggie in the kitchen.

"Kara, I have pictures to show you, dear." Eliza smiles and glances at Lena walking towards me. She gets her phone out and shows me the pictures she took last night. There's a picture of me asleep on Lena on the couch, a picture of her carrying me through the hallway, and then a picture of us in my bed last night. My face burns up. I don't even remember any of that whatsoever. I wish I did though...

"I never realized how clingy you can be." Alex says with a snort. "Or at least with a certain someone..." Alex mumbles but of course I can hear it because of super-hearing.

"Oh and you're not?" Maggie asks raising her eyebrow with her arms crossed.

Alex's smile falters and she rolls her eyes going to sit with Lena on the couch. Maggie gives me a sympathetic smile. Does she know? I wonder if Alex told her. I'm sure she did, not that I mind.

"What are we doing today, any plans?" Alex asks from the couch.

Eliza sets out plates and says, "What about the lake you girls always went swimming in?" There's a gorgeous lake about 20 minutes from here that Alex and I went swimming in. I know Lena is afraid of swimming because of the situation that happened with her mom when she was young but the view is still amazing. "We could go out to dinner tonight somewhere as well."

We all agree and eat breakfast together. Conversations were filled with laughter and everyone was involved. We all got ready on our own time and Maggie and Alex are in the shower while Lena and I get ready in the bedroom. "Ten bucks they're doing it right now." Lena says stifling a laugh. She's wearing a bathing suit that Eliza let her borrow. She actually lended a bathing suit to all of us because none of us had packed one. Lena looks amazing in it though. She's wearing a beach cardigan over it but it's see-through.
