Chapter Six

CHAPTER SIX:

I woke up, dazed and slightly confused in an unfamiliar room. I was tucked warmly under several thick blankets on a very large four poster canopy bed. It had to be a California king bed if I was guessing, the thing was massive. Sheer cream colored fabrics framed the canopy, surrounding the bed and the room itself was a lovely light purple color. I sat up and looked around, making sure to keep the covers close to my body for warmth. The floors, like the library, are a slate gray colored stone but there are several plush rugs placed around the room around the bed, vanity and sitting area on the opposite side of the room. The wood of each furniture piece was painted a stark white color. The couch and two chairs near the TV stand looked soft and were the same cream as the canopy with purple and white and gold accent colors. The whole room seems to be done in that color scheme.

I wiggle a little a huff, trying to remember how I got here but nother come to mind. The last thing I remember is sitting in the library with Caius and Marcus as Aro had been called away for some sort of emergency which seemed to really upset him. I concluded that I must have fallen asleep at some point during our conversation and was moved here to sleep.

I once again look around and squeal when I spot my bag on the vanity table meaning I had clean clothing to wear and books to read! I dart up from the bed and run to grab the bag, ripping it open to check its contents. I set the book aside along with my phone charger and grab out a clean set of clothing and undergarments. Then I spin around and see a couple of different doors. The first one I found is a large empty walk-in closet that is nearly as big as my bedroom at home. I grumble and quickly shut that room then head to the next one sighing happiny when it's a bathroom. I carry my clothes in and set them down on the large double vanity before closing and locking the door for privacy.

I glance between a massive jetted tub and a huge rainfall style shower, debating on which one to use. The shower looks complicated so I decided on a hot bath and began filling the tub before doing my morning business. I strip and sing into the hot water, sighing contentedly as I sing to my nose in the water. After soaking for about thirty minutes I reach for the conveniently placed bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, quickly washing myself and draining the tub.

I pull a fluffy purple towel from the warming rack and dry my body off before wrapping the town around myself. My eyes briefly glance at the mirror and I freeze, frowning at my own reflection as I scan my figure. Without realizing I'm doing It, I reach down and poke my thigh then rip my eyes away from my reflection. I remove the towel and pull on my clothes for the day.

I didn't bring much with me so I chose to go with black jeans and a loose fitting, burgundy colored, button up blouse. I towel dried my hair as best I could before combing through it to remove the tangled from my travels and sleep. Once I was happy enough with it I flipped the light off and exited the bathroom leaving my dirty clothing folded on the vanity as I wasn't sure where the hamper would be.

I walk back into what I'm assuming is my room at this point and I grab the book I was reading previously and my phone before heading to the comfortable looking couch. I chose a playlist of my favorite music and hit play then laid down across the couch to get lost in a world of reverse harem glory. Then I snorted, realized what I'm reading and thought about my current situation. Suddenly my fascination with this book makes a fuck ton more sense. Instead of three doms though, I got three kings who happen to be vampires. You can't write this shit.

"Oh my god Ric, you did not just say that to her!" I mumble at the character who just told his sub that she had disappointed him. Like what the actual fuck? Poor innocent Lila. "Cas and Jem are going to castrate you for making their love cry, you idiot!"
