The slow dance song had ended, and JJ had gone to the bathroom real quick, leaving Kie with pope and Cleo.
When he came out, he went back over to pope and Cleo, but Kie wasn't with them
"Where's kie?" JJ asks, getting concerned
"Someone called her or something I dunno, she just ran outside" pope said, point to the exit.
JJ rushes outside to find her, but couldn't. He went back inside to look for her, but she found him first.
"JJ there you are do you have my keys?!" She asked in a panic tone
"Woah, yea I do what's going on, what happened" JJ responded, grabbing her keys from his pocket
"Sarah called me, we have to go to the boneyard, quick!" Kie said frantically grabbing the keys from JJ
"Woah hey Kie hang on" JJ said grabbing her arm "what's going on?"
"I don't know exactly but Sarah called me, John b won't answer and she said rafe was getting mad. That's all she said before she hung up, now let's go" Kie said while trying to walk to the door again
"Wait hold on what time is it" JJ says checking his phone "Kie it's 10:50, come on" he says, trying to reason with her
"JJ I'm going." She tells him "with or with out you"
She says, grabbing the keys and heading to the door
JJ takes a deep breath and rubbed his hands through his hair, trying not to get stressed, before quickly following her out.
"Give me the keys" JJ sighs reluctantly as they got to the car.
She tosses him the keys and he rushes over to the boneyard. The beach was crowded already and there were people everywhere so they had to park pretty far away.
Kie took off her heels and They both ran to the boneyard as fast as they could, until realizing they didn't even know what to look for.
Kie tries to call Sarah again. They stood on the outskirts of the entrance, surrounded by people. JJ frantically looking around for Sarah or John b as Kie plugged one of her ears trying to be able to hear.
"Sarah!?" Kie yells over the loud people through the phone
"Kie where's John b?!" Sarah cries on the other end of the phone
"I don't know, Sarah where are you?!" Kie asks
"He locked me in the life guard tower it looks like, he said he'll be back in a minute Kie I need John b!" She cries.
"What the hell" Kie says "hang on sarah we're coming" she says and hangs up the phone
"Where's the life guard tower?!" Kie asks, looking up at JJ, you could see the fear in her eyes.
"Oh shit" JJ says as they start running into the party. JJ knew nothing good ever happened in life guard towers at partys. He had watched a girl get beat and used in one of them when he was a freshman, trying to fit in with the seniors. He didn't do anything, he just watched in horror, feeling powerless over the situation.
"Do you know where your going?" Kie asks as they ran through the crowed of people
"Yea it's a little ways more up the beach" JJ explains
"Okay keep going, I'm gonna go look for John b" Kie says
"Absolutely not!" JJ shuts down the idea immediately "Kie, if rafes here, your not going out to look for jb by your self"
"JJ i think I'll be fine" Kie starts
"Kie look at me!" he says, they stop running and he puts both his hand on her shoulders "there are people here, okay bad people! I've seen some of the things they've done okay, I'm not letting you out of my sight! I'm serious" he says trying to get her to understand
