Jiara Part 91

He drove his bike to the parking lot kie asked to meet at and parked next to kies car. He instantly ran up to her window, smiling.

"Hi." He said, kissing her through the rolled down window.

"Hi." she kissed him back.

"Why'd you wanna meet." He smirked as he introduced tongue in her mouth. She laughed and pulled away just as Sarah poked her head out from the back seat.

"I'm right here!" She shouted, disturbed.

"Oh." he sighed. "Hi Sarah." They both laughed as JJ walked around to the other side and got in the car. "So, what's up?" he asked as he shut the door, looking at the two girls.

"Well first off, how was your first day so far?" Kie asked, excited for him.

"Its good." he replied. "The guys are a little sketchy, but I think I'm getting the hang of it so far."

"Well that's good." She smiled at him. "And yeah, I avoid talking to them at all costs, but they're 'cheap help' as my dad likes to call them."

"Is that what I am?" JJ joked and kie shrugged. They all laughed.

"Okay, but on a real note.." Kie started. "Rafe gets out of the hospital in a month and non of us have been down there to check in on him and see if he's actually doing better."

"Yeah I got a call a couple weeks ago from him, I think the doctors just wanted to see how he would react after talking to me." Sarah added. "He seemed better, honestly."

"We were talking about going to visit him tomorrow, to see how he's doing before he gets out." Kie said as she watched her confused boyfriend.

"Why?" He asked. he was all for him not being psychotic anymore, but he more so just wanted to be done with him.

"Because he's my brother, JJ." Sarah reminded him.

"Right." JJ thought for a moment. "Well, I mean, I have work tomorrow."

"You don't work Thursday." Kie jumped in.

"Why do y'all want me to go so bad." JJ sighed. "Cuz I'm not gonna lie, I REALLY don't wanna go."

"Because." Sarah started. "He really doesn't like you, and the doctor said we need to make sure that he's able to handle himself around people that trigger his anger."

"Seriously?" He asked, dropping his head.

"Please, JJ." Kie asked, rubbing his arm.

He sighed again and looked up at his girlfriend.

"Whatever." He rolled his eyes

"Thank youuuu." Sarah said

"but look, he was fucked up before all this shit went down." JJ argued. "He may not be crazy anymore but thats not going to make him a good person, Sarah. I just don't want you to get your hopes up."

"No, I know that." Sarah said, a little disappointed as she realized he was right. "But I mean, I know he has a good side, and I feel like maybe that side will come out more."

"Sarah-" he stared but kie cut him off.

"JJ, he got actual medical, profession, help. I'm sure they did a lot of reflecting, he could be fine." She argued.

He looked at them both like they were stupid a little.

"Whatever." he sighed again, looking at the time. "I gotta go."

he leaned over and gave kie a quick kiss.

"Ill see you at 4:00?" he asked before getting out of the car

"Yeah." she smiled sadly. she wasn't too happy with how that conversation went. She just wanted Sarah too get some closure. She could tell that ever since that phone call, shes been really stressed out about it. She was scared to bring it up to him though because he knew that was her EX and didn't want him to think she still cared about him that way. But she did...

He was her first boyfriend and before it was bad, it was good. They were all friends at one point and she wanted the old old Rafe back. Obviously not because she wanted to get back with him, bur for Sarahs sake and for old times sake. she knew it would never be the same as how it was, but she did still care for that version of him, not the one that he'd become.
