The next three days were filled with swimming, surfing, going to nice fancy dinners every night, tours, zoos, and so much more.
Kie hadn't slept in her room not one night. Every night she snuck into JJs to sleep, and so far her parents hadn't noticed.
On Thursday, JJ and kie were outside in the hot tub and decided to face time sarah and John b since Kie told them she would.
"Heyyyyy" JJ said when John b answer. Him and Sarah were sitting on the couch at the chateau.
"Omggg hows paradise" Sarah asked, excited to see them again.
"Bro it's amazing" he said and turned the camera to face the sunset over the ocean "just look at it"
"Oh my god whatttt" Sarah said and they were both in awe.
"Isn't it awsome!" Kie said, looking at it as well.
"That's beautiful" John b said
"So how's the obx spring break? Are y'all having fun with out us" JJ asked
"Ugh, yea it is fun except my brothers being an absolute dick" Sarah said, annoyed
JJ paused for a minute at the thought of rafe. He hated him.
"What?! What's he doing?" Kie asked
"He keeps trying to 'talk to me' and has came to the chateau like twice already." Sarah complained "he's actually loosing it."
"Yea, he hasn't done anything like try to hurt her, he just keeps knocking on the door and basically begging for her to come talk to him" John b said, he was annoyed at the situation as well
Kie and JJ looked at each other confused
"That's so weird" Kie said
"A part of me wants to try to check him into a mental hospital" Sarah said "like actually I think he needs help"
"Yea I mean you guys should see it. He's like 10x more psychotic looking than he used to be. I don't know what happened to him" John b said
"Well shit- make sure you keep the door locked" JJ said "John b, not giving you any ideas, I'm just sayin.. my gun IS in my room at my house if you need it. Alright just in case"
"You have a gun?!" Mike said from the porch
"Did not know you were out here- okayyy" JJ said, a little surprised, and knowing he'd probably be in trouble "John b I gotta go" he said and handed the phone to Kie
"Just give us one minute" Kie said politely, putting them on mute. Sarah and John b were laughing that he got caught
"You have an actual gun?! How old are you again?!" Mike said like he was crazy to own one
"It's just a little hand gun in case of an emergency" JJ tried to explain
"You have no need for a gun JJ your 16" Mike said. He wasn't mad, mainly just blown away that a 16 year old boy had access to a firearm
"Well Mike I hate to be this guy but I don't live on figure 8, you know. I can't always trust people on the cut and I'm not gonna let myself be in a situation where I can't protect myself if I need to." JJ said defending it. "I don't even think my front door locks at my house"
"So you keep it at your house?" Mike asked to make sure
"Yea, it never leaves my room" JJ lied
So it's your dads gun really?" Mike said, hoping for that to be the situation
"Mm no I don't think my dad knows I have it" JJ thought
"Jesus JJ" Mike said, rubbing his forehead a little worried. "Who even let you buy it?"
