Chapter 11: Letting Go.

Avery's POV<

Kate had what looked like fallen asleep in my arms, which at first I thought she died, that is until I saw her breath. I really need to calm down, but my wolf was pissed, Henry should not be here, or anywhere near here. He shouldn't have been able to find Kate or even get past my security clearances.

I sighed and gently picked up Kate careful not to hurt her. Becka, Aiden, and Drew had scared off Henry for now. But I couldn't help but worry that Kate was in real danger, I didn't want to put her in that position for anything, I couldn't explain it but I would die for her.

I walked across the hall to a bedroom labeled with a wolf starring straight at the person. Also known as my bedroom. I laid-ed her down gently on the bed careful not to hurt her, but I already had. I hadn't been there to protect her and now she was hurt and it was all my fault.

I covered her with a blanket that was on the bed then laid-ed down next to her and tried to stop thinking about Heny's hands around her throat and tried to fall asleep.

Kate's POV<

I dreamed that I was in Avery's arms and he was loving and gentle and sweet. Not like the Avery who had just chocked me to death. I was loving him and he was loving me, (No you little nasties not like that!! :P) we were in love and it felt like nothing could break us apart. Not even the upcoming war.

I woke up with a start and saw that I was not in my room, I was somewhere else. It was nice looking enough, there were light blue walls with creamy colored curtains. A closet, a dresser, a desk, and a hooked on bathroom and a bed. And that was it. No pictures. No posters. No nothing it was very empty looking.

Until I looked over and saw him. He was holding my hand and he was sleeping, how cute he was when he was sleeping. I smiled at him and even though he couldn't see me or even know I was awake he smiled to.

I shook his shoulder gently until his eyes slowly opened and he smiled at me. "Hey here beautiful," He said stretching the one arm that wan't connected to mine. Then he leaned over and kissed my forehead ever so gently. But that was all it took because shivers were going through us and it was a feeling neither of us knew.

"Hi," I said sitting up. "So this is your room?"

"Yup, all mine." He said finally letting go of my hand.

"Its.....nice...I mean a little bare but nice." I turned around and smiled at him once more getting up and walking towards the door.

Well I was going to the door before I was attacked. Like literally he jumped up and tackled me to the bed again where we landed with a thud. "Avery!" I said hitting his arm. "What was that for?"

"Your mine, and the sooner we make it known the sooner you'll be safe." And with that he kissed me.

It was an aggressively, needy kiss that scared me slightly but and the same time I wanted more. I felt that if he stopped my whole body would break down and I'd die. I needed him, I wanted him and I didn't care who knew.

I was letting go, letting go of everything and just letting Avery have me just as I am.

His lips moved from my mouth to my neck where he left love nips and licks in his wake. Finally he found a spot that drove me mad, like I literally wanted to scream it felt so good, but before I could get anything out he bit me.

It hurt at first but then the only thing I felt was pleasure and want. I wanted him right here right now. But at that moment the door opened and Drew and Annie walked in.

"Whoa!! PDA!!!! HOLY CRAP THERE KISSING I THINK I SAW TONGUE!!! ANNIE COVER YOUR EYES!!!!" Drew yelled covering Annie eyes and walking back out of the room. "I SAW NOTHING! I SAW NOTHING !" I he yelled into the room.

I couldn't help but laugh at his innocence. But Avery on the other hand growl and deep and menacing sound that was defiantly inhuman.

"DREW!!" He yelled summoning Drew.

"YES?" He called back not coming in.

"GET THE HELL IN HERE!"

"NOT UNTIL YOUR DONE SUCKING FACE!!"

"DREW!!! GET YOUR SQUEAKY ASS IN HERE NOW!!!!" Avery yelled clearly pissed.

"ARE YOU DONE?"

"DREW!!"

"OKAY, okay fine what?" He asked stepping into the room, Annie now gone.

"I don't know your the one who burst through the door!"

"Oh, yeah right, well I came to tell you that you have a visitor." And with that he walked out the door.

We both looked at each-other and then he ran. He got his clothes on so quick I thought if I blinked I'd miss something. "Look Kate, stay here and I'll be right back but you might want to put something nice on just in case it is who I think it is." He said giving me a pleading look.

"Fine..." I said and slowly when back into my room. I walked into the closet and picked out a white lacy dress and a pair of white converse, a peal necklace and bracelet and pined my hair back to look a little classier.

But I really didn't understand why I was doing this, I mean nobody as far as I knew was important but I decided it didn't matter. That is until I saw the bite mark on my neck and remember what Avery did to me. I reached over and touched the tender red skin, there was really no blood execpt for a few drops and those had already dried.

"WHY THE FUCK DID HE BITE YOU!!!" My subconscious screamed at me. But I ignored her because as much as I want to ask the same question I couldn't because I really didn't care. So he bit me, well that was one hell of a hickey I'll tell you that. But to me it kinda resembled a symbol of love.

And I sound f-ing crazy right now.

But I couldn't think straight all I could think about was Avery, Avery this Avery that, and most importantly all I really wanted to do was go back into Avery's room and finished what we started. But that wasn't going to happen because we have freaking guests!

I sighed and walked back to the door just as I was about to reach for the handle the door opened by it's self and I stepped out into the hall wonder what could have opened the door. But then I saw him, Conner was standing a little ways down in a tux leaning against the wall looking very sexy. But not my type.

"Hey," I said walking towards him.

"He...y...." He said looking me up and down before nodded in approval. "Nice, very....vintage." He smiled and offered me his arm.

I took it suspiciously, why was Conner acting so formal I mean he never does that, he would rather push me down the stairs then help me. "What's going on?" I asked.

"Ready to meet two of the most important people ever?" He asked nervously. Just as we reached the landing.

I looked around and Avery was standing next to two people, "Kate, I'd like you to meet my parents."
