Chapter 26: Plan of Attack

Kate's POV< 

The ride home was boring and uneventful, Kathryn and Aiden argued almost the whole way, Mason and Conner were quiet, and Avery just wanted me to sit by him so the he could tell that I was still there. It was getting harder and harder to stay close to Avery, I thought I had the strenght but I don't. If this hunger keeps up then I'll have to leave until I can fix it. 

It was dark when we finally reached the house, all the lights were on and I could see the rest of them on the couch waiting patiently for us. They are so obedient. Huh? Who'd a thunk?

Avery kept his arm around me protectively and I had to swallow don't the burning sensation that was eating away at my throat. Becka ran out the door like a crazy person waving her arms around and flinging herself on me, ripping me out of Avery's grasp and tumbling to the ground. 

"Jesus, Becka!" Said Kathryn having to move back so that she wouldn't get tackled to. 

"Oh shut it Kathryn! I was worried about her!" Said Becka. 

"Okay, well why don't you re-cooperate in the house, instead of rolling around in the dirt like dogs. Oh, wait Kate you can stay out here I guess." She smirked and walked over to Isaiah. 

"Ignore her." Commanded Avery, helping Becka and I up. "She just was pissed we had to go and save you, she'll be okay tomorrow." 

Becka was already waving goodbye as she ran to Aiden and gave him the biggest hug ever, and a sweet kiss. I wish my relationship was as not complicated as hers was. She was in love and Aiden was already in love, what am I? A un-mated, un-wanted, un-loved, vampire who wants her old boyfriend back.  

Avery was silent as he walked me to my room, and when we got there he only stood at the door and muttered 'back right back'. I took this opportunity to change into boxer shorts, and a tank top, knowing that Avery was going to come back in I added a little perfume. 

I laid down on the bed and waited for what seemed like forever, but still no Avery. Ok, last time I checked 'be right back' means your coming back. I threw the covers off and walked into Avery's room to find him sound asleep on his bed. 

I smiled slightly and decided to tuck him in. Throwing the blanket over him without his ninja skills kicking in was a challenge but I somehow managed to do it, and with that I walked out of him room and into mine for some well deserved rest.

When I woke up I found that the curtains were drawn open and the balcony doors were open letting in the freezing cold air. Not that I felt it, but still! 

I sat up and looked at the clock, 12:09, sadly it was time to get up. I took a quick shower, not that I needed to but I felt more human that way. Walking over to the closet, naked, with open balcony doors was a bad idea. 

Mason, Aiden, Conner and a couple of other guys were outside playing football, and they all stopped when they saw me, well Aiden had the decency to look away, a random good looking guy whistled and Conner blushed. Even though I used him he was still adorable, I ran over to the closet and shut the door quickly. 

Out of the hole of darkness I emerged wearing, shorter white strapless wispy dress that came down to about my mid-thigh. Black fishnets, brown combat boots, and a black and white striped cardigan. (Autor's POV< Allison Argent(Teen Wolf) when she and Scott go on a date (Season 2))
